WOW VW are on a roll! My dealer just rang – build week has been brought forward to 27 which is July so car should be available end of August 🙂
If anyone is interested in the X Trail for delivery next month, Chorley Nissan have the following….
The X-Trail is only available in automatic with 2WD and with the 1.3 petrol engine and 7 seats.
This would have an advance payment of £1,649.00 and provisional delivery times are currently around the 18th June.
With the diesel engine and a manual gearbox, there are 3 different options available.
– 2WD with 5 seats (£1,499.00 advance payment)
– 2WD with 7 seats (£1,699.00 advance payment)
– 4WD with 7 seats (£1,749.00 advance payment)
In terms of availability for these variations, we currently only have one 2WD 5 seat model immediately available, which is in the Picador Brown colour.
We have the same model on order in either Black, Gun metal Grey, or Storm White and these are due in to us by the 18th June.
I’m thinking of getting one of them that fit onto the rear view mirror, but have heard there may be issues with the ‘black box’ causing blind spots and also the angle of the camera is limited by the rear view mirror.
Anyone had any experience of these?

looks that way shawn – I got an email from my local dealer last night telling me the X trail was back – so it seems motability drop cars and bring them back on an ad hoc basis 🙁

Wouldn’t hold my breath on that one as just checked Nissan configurator and they are not offering Auto DSG on ANY Diesel at all! Petrol only.

Others (like my local VW dealer) require a more direct approach which usually yields quick results…

Thanks for that mate but I already did it – twice! and yes there is other stock but nothing in pure white (when I checked). So for now I am willing to wait and track the progress (hopefully, when it finally arrives it may come with some extra goodies as a result of yet another spec change – fingers crossed) 🙂
R Line Tech in Pure White 2WD 7 speed DSG no extras 🙂 – currently being quoted build week 34 by my dealer.

Here’s an idea, why not have this as a ‘sticky’ and invite sales people (such as Kelly) from any manufacturers to post current availability and offers. Surely this would be of interest to forum users looking for new cars and especially those not wanting to wait?

Hi Rico, read on another thread you have the Tig R Line Tech… can you confirm… does it have a simm card slot between the 2 sd card slots or am I thinking only skoda has that?

Since you have been able to create an internet connection with another device successfully, it would seem that you have encountered an issue that occurs with Android 9 mobile phones due to a change in the way they connect to the internet.
This is a known issue and our technical experts are working to resolve it. In the mean time, if possible, you can access the internet by using older versions of Android or iPhones. Thank you for your understanding and your patience.
In the meantime I have put the free 200mb Three sim in an old Huawei Mifi unit which works a treat
