Sorry, I think you’ve replied in the wrong thread. This started asking when the Toyota Hybrid was coming back on the scheme.

Renault pre-positioned stock for the retail launch, we were told. So 3ish weeks. We could have had ours from local dealer stock immediately if we’d wanted white. Total will be 8 weeks for us as we went for a test drive based on not have all the AP saved yet but expecting delivery time to be 12 weeks plus.
That’s really good, thanks for sharing the details.

Recently test drove the Techno Esprit Alpine trim level and ordered one.
Thanks for the help. Were you given any idea of the lead/delivery times at all?

Thanks all. I wasn’t quite getting the full/mild bit but that all helps.
I would be fine if it wasn’t for Toyota’s advertising campaign trying to tell the world that anything with a plug is a mistake and self charging is the future. It clearly isn’t.
I guess we must have been watching very different advertising campaigns.

After having had my test drive this morning and returning home really pleased with the car, I go on the Toyota website only to discover it was a 2.0 litre engined car they sent me out in not the 1.8 litre one I had requested.
There were paddle shifters at the back of the steering wheel so I checked what they were for but learned they were only fitted to 2.0 litre models.
Feeling a bit peed off right now.

Apologies for the late response but I’m posting by way of an update.
Cutting a very long story short and after complaining to Motability, Vauxhall’s CEO and my dealership, Motability got back to me saying they have authorised an early cancellation and waved any fees. Which for me is really good news.
I do like my Astra Sports Tourer but after what I feel was a lot of messing about from Vauxhall and the dealership I feel I will go to another manufacturer and especially a different dealership. One of the lessons I have learned from this is to definitely go all over the car during a handover and make sure I am happy before entering my PIN number.
All I need to do now is choose a vehicle that is not likely to get cancelled three times and has a decent delivery time. Thanks to everyone on here for all the help. It has been really appreciated.

I have the car at the minute Joss but never having been involved in a complaint before I’m not sure what is happening. Just waiting for the claims handler to get back to me.
If it’s of any help to others who need to email Motability, the link from Richard in post #146396 above did allow me to send an email to them listing all the problems I felt had arisen during my recent order. Motability have acknowledge receipt.

February 5, 2021 at 2:20 pm in reply to: How long have people been waiting for their “ordered” cars? #139004Just as an update, I’m still waiting for the vehicle I initially ordered the first week in August. I’ve now lost all confidence in the dealership and Vauxhall.
I’m told by both that the car was ordered on that date but the Astra Sports Tourer has since had an update leading my order being cancelled. My dealership tells me they are still waiting for a new “build code” from Vauxhall before they can even place a new order. Vauxhall have said they will honour the original AP price as the latest one is now five times greater.
Not having heard from my dealership in over a month, I get the feeling they are doing nothing and not even really interested.

I ordered my new vehicle in early August and all I can get from my dealership or Vauxhall is that there is “no projected date”‘. Not finding either of them really helpful at all.
