Ive noticed a problem with the original thread, taking me to page 1 of the thread. Assuming its the same problem as my original Brexit thread (stolen by WMC lol) that there were too many pages, i have started another weather thread (stolen from lightbodyae55 lol).

21C already. Not quite perfectly clear with a few pretty cumulus clouds scudding about. Forecast max of 25C; a bit pessimistic – reckon it’ll get to 27+ .
And, a very happy Midsummer’s Day to all š
Yesterday we saw the first swallows and martins of this year’s batch together with some warblers.
June 21, 2025 at 8:16 am #306955Big change in forecast since yesterday, max temp today at 20*C rather than 25*C Ā forecast.
16*C just now with clouds ā ļø overhead. Looks like pleasant day rather than the high temp conditions I was expecting.
Unfortunately we are heading home today and I expect 25*C there.
I hope the kids have watered my pots otherwise Iām looking at complete floral decimation.

Taking my daughter out for a trip to Jarrow, not a great tourist destination!!
But, they do have Jarrow Hall with an Anglo-Saxon village, farm and the Bede museumMy daughter (31) still loves going there and there’s the added bonus of 3 farm cats who will usually let you pick them up and play with them š
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!

June 30, 2025 at 9:53 am #30741224C in back garden now.Forecast says 26C later on but this will mean about 28C in real life. Bright, clear, very light wind so the “perceived” temperature is higher than measured figure.
July 1, 2025 at 7:09 am #307485Patio open all windows 25 in lounge very humid
July 1, 2025 at 8:27 am #307502Same as yesterday. 24C now, heading for 28/29C. Bright, clear. slightly stronger wind. Much relaxed gardening done yesterday – all at a very slow pace with plenty of pauses to listen to virtuoso blackbird and watch a skyfull of martins and swallows. Only problem was when our ants decided to swarm causing dash indoors for two hours with most windows closed.
