Ive noticed a problem with the original thread, taking me to page 1 of the thread. Assuming its the same problem as my original Brexit thread (stolen by WMC lol) that there were too many pages, i have started another weather thread (stolen from lightbodyae55 lol).

June 18, 2025 at 7:55 am #306813Same here. 7am temperature 17C. Forecast 21C but reckon it’ll be 25C at least in back garden. Forecast at present is clear and sunny for the available future with temperatures getting towards 30C.
In fact, just saw a piece of BBC which quotes the Met Office as saying that 40C or more is 20 times more likely than in the 1960s and that present-day heatwaves might last a month or more.
June 18, 2025 at 8:39 am #30681615*C and overcast.
Thankfully no mega high temperatures expected here with a max of 24*C forecast for Saturday.

June 19, 2025 at 9:34 am #30685722C right now. Met office maximum says 25C but I think it’ll go to 27C as it did yesterday. Needless to say – bright, clear and sunny; light winds too.

June 19, 2025 at 10:36 am #306867Just sorted the bins, 🥵😮💨
Iced water for me at least a pint, slice of lemon, and some shade in order..
June 19, 2025 at 10:50 am #306869Cooler here at 17*C but really nice out. Hardly a cloud in the sky with next to no breeze.
Taking a trip to a few of the villages along the coast today so hoping for the weather to stay fine.

My grandchildren will be cooling in there later (even my 5 month old grandson has a float that allows his arms and legs to splash away, he loves it).
As it will still be 27c at 8pm we have another al fresco dining night to look forward to. Worcestershire is beautiful when the sun shines.
June 19, 2025 at 4:08 pm #306886Yup, @POPS same here. Garden gauge hit 27C about 11am and has sat there ever since. Am thinking that I should cook a paella tomorrow to add a proper Mediterranean feel. We’ve got a relatively warm sea lapping at beach all we’d need for a complete feel-alike would be the comfy fast launch. Any Cranchi will be fine.

Aaaaah…
June 19, 2025 at 6:00 pm #306892It has/still is, blisteringly hot here all day. 27c is just to much for me.

June 20, 2025 at 7:16 am #30689720C at 6am; forecast is for 24C later but it’ll do more than that – 27/28C maybe. Bright, clear etc.
June 20, 2025 at 9:14 am #30690020*C, bright sunshine and very little breeze. Forecast for 25*C.
Heading to the beach today which usually drops the temperature a couple of degrees 🤞

June 20, 2025 at 12:56 pm #306918Turned very overcast so a very pleasant 20*C. Wife isn’t doing very well so visit to the beach cancelled 😞

Anything i post over three lines long please assume it is an article lol.June 20, 2025 at 1:18 pm #306919It’s currently a muggy 27c and cloudy. The forecast is for clear skies and 29c from 5pm onwards and a very warm night.
A large family sized tent has just been put up in our very private garden and my daughter in law has put lights, rugs, seating and beds in there for the children to camp out comfortably tonight.
The plan is for a ‘family five aside football game’ down at a lovely local country park, followed by a BBQ back here along with copious cold drinks …. (a pint of beer anyone?)
This weather wont last long, so we will make the most of it while we can. I will be sat in a comfy chair observing and lifting a glass, lol.
June 20, 2025 at 1:19 pm #306920Brydo, I hope your wife feels better soon. Best wishes.

June 20, 2025 at 6:49 pm #306940Yeah 30C at the north Norfolk coast today here. Just nice of UKPN to be do crap as a DNO that over 100 homes locally lost power for several hours which meant no WiFi of course plus no mobile phone signal as it takes the mast out every time too so you can’t even get text updates to find out what’s happening.
Of course that killed the fans and aircon in the house so had to go out to cool off ffs
June 21, 2025 at 5:46 am #306950Very warm night, large clouds scattered, again no breeze, had to have internet provider out yesterday, modem showing a red light, technician said could be the heat, but is also signs of an aged coming to the end of life modem and over heating 😳😳👀👀👀👀👀
Upgraded modem, all sorted
