with Q2 upon us Motability has announced they will be producing their pricing as usual on the 1st April, although you can’t order until the government restrictions are relaxed.

with the current  economic climate we could see some changes, hopefully even some new additions filtering on the scheme. With Q2 starting next week I know  any advance changes may not make a difference at present but the thread is for reference and pricing for when we can use the information.

        Ha Ha, Gordon 🙂

The La Premiere I went for only comes in one colour so I didn’t have that problem!

I’ve been trying to get a 320i sport today without having to do a factory order. There are only 2 in the country but guess what, both have got the premium pack which adds £1700 to the already high AP.

There are lots of 320i M Sports at dealers but it’s not on the list.

Come on Motability, see if there’s a deal to be had on those.

Hi Richard, there aren’t many AP deals out there just after start up and I see that you are in the same buying position as myself.

Before lockdown, Johnson’s Volvo had the best AP deals and as for BMW there were many dealerships offering up to £500 off an X1 – Marshallls, Cooper, Sytner, Stratstone.

You may have to hang on for a few weeks to allow them to get back up to speed, some may do a quick offer to get an order in by the end of June but I’d wait until the beginning of July.

I suspect car manufacturers won’t want to set a price busting deal on AP’s for Q3 in July & be stuck with a set  price for 3 months,

Most dealerships are still playing catch-up on orders pre-lockdown.

So individual deals would be more flexible & can react to supply & demand a lot quicker, especially as the full impact of the lockdown will not be resolved anytime soon & projected sales are more guesswork than fact at the moment.

The 1st week of July should be an interesting read regarding deals.

                            Tom…

I agree Tom the manufacturers will be reserved in any overall reductions, it will be the individual Dealerships that will be able to offer incentives, especially on stock vehicles and those they have had cancelled. Dealerships are in a good position (well those with the foresight to see the value of the Motability customer) to be able to off hand vehicles.

July 1st new pricelist (hopefully more enticing prices and choice.) and it says on motability faq’s new customers can place an order from that date .Surely that’ll mean existing customers who need to change early can cancel current lease and reorder. Thats what were waiting for here ,admittedly we would struggle choosing of q2 list with prices currently inflated it seems.
