      Hello fellow Skodians. I hought I would start this thread, as there seems to be quite a few either taken ownership, placed orders or just thinking about getting the best ev out there.

      So, any questions that someone may be able to answer, any good or bad dealings with dealers, specs wanted or received, perhaps someone could help others in their quest

        @Phaedra – did you say something about wanting to compare the stereo to a standard setup or has that time long passed now.

          It will be. The dealership salesman couldn’t activate the app until the back office at the dealer did something. After they did whatever it is they needed to, the app worked straight away. Enjoy the car!

            @Colin Yes, it would be interesting to compare.  Dealer/Skoda have no interest in doing anything about it at all.

                  Oh I know, found you months ago but there is no friend request option (completely up to you to set things up that way). There is a send message button but when I sent a message it didn’t appear to work. Not important anyway just was trying not to clutter up this thread (which failed lol)

                    Great, black badge doesn’t fit over the existing badge, it’s a replacement. 50/50 on if I should fit it or not now. Thought it was just a cover thing

                        Basically, yes with the badge I have but there’s a version which just sticks on, I just appear to have ordered the wrong one. Will speak to the bodyshop tomorrow/monday and see what are the chances of damage if I change it

                          As long as you’re careful there’s nothing there to damage. Use plastic tools, plenty of heat and work a spudger around the outside cutting the glue.

                          You can loosen it with ispropanol too but heat, plastic spudger and patience it will come off its not hard. Then just stick the new badge on. If you don’t want to do it I’m sure any garage would do it for you for a few quid.

                            Think I may need to cancel order, current car’s exhaust just dropped off at the weekend so don’t think we can wait another 2/3 months for this order to come through, might have to start looking at other options with stock available.

                            We did drop the CEO of motability a message about the shady practices at the local Skoda garage though so we’ll see what happens there.

                              We’ve all been there!

                              I’ve just spent £1.5k at the local Mercedes garage and it’s back in today with another problem which has only occurred since they serviced it & did a few repairs last week, which they deny is anything to do with them, so another bill coming!

                              And my new Motability car is ready any day!

                              The delay in supplying the car has cost me thousands!

                              Skoda Enyaq Coupe 85x Sportline Plus Adanced, Heat Pump & 21" Supernova Wheels In Moon White Metallic - Ordered 27th December 2023 - Confirmed 31st January 2024 - Build Week 16 (W/C April 15th) Estimated Delivery 26th May. Build Week moved back to week 23 W/C 3rd June) Build Week moved again to week 32 (W/C 5th August) Brought forward to week 27 (W/C 1st July 24) Advised Week 31 That car us built & in Transit to UK. August 22nd, car arrived at dealership but wrong spec. Collected the car 18/9/2024. Ver

                                    Had a phone all this afternoon. Our Enyaq is with the dealership and ready to be handed over Monday.

                                    Ordered Week 4 (January 20th), build week 33, delivery week 37.

                                    85 Edition EcoSuite arctic silver, bog standard.

                                    I’m in Dartford so imagine it was shipped to Sheerness.

                                        Well getting in touch with the Motability CEO backfired, just had an email from the Skoda salesman saying they have cancelled it.

                                        “Please be advised that after a conversation with Motability Operations your application and order for a Skoda Enyaq Coupe has been closed down and cancelled.”

                                        The guy acting on the CEO’s behalf has just accepted what the dealership have told him give a load of bumf about how they have been assured retail are not prioritized over Motability customers. And now my partner is currently spiralling in panic, maybe we’ll go dance with the next bus to go past….

                                          Has the dealer cancelled the order because they were pee’d off you went to Motability’s CEO or because the CEO dept told them to cancell it?

                                          If it was the former I’d got back to the CEO, stating how your dealer has thrown their toys out of the pram, just because you questioned their practice.

                                            Oh I’m sure it’s the dealer throwing out their toys, the email was sharp and short.

                                            The email from the complaint handler was asking what I wanted to do and the email came from Pulman’s at the same time advising its cancelled, so I can only assume they hung up the phone then cancelled the order, its already been taken off the Motability account already. They’ve ignored any attempt at contact so waiting to hear back from Motability.

                                              Has the dealer cancelled the order because they were pee’d off you went to Motability’s CEO or because the CEO dept told them to cancell it?                                               They probably took exception to being accused of ‘shady’ practices! One albeit small positive is that Daviddec was considering cancelling the order and getting a different car so this will have made his mind up although in an unpleasant way.

                                                And at no time was the dealer asked about that phrase, the complaint was regarding the lack of customer care/contact/ and being told we were lesser customers because we weren’t “paying” I hope they are ready for the publicity coming their way

                                                  Am on your side, but always advise being wary about how a complaint is worded and of course a lot of dealerships will be aware of what is posted here. Really hoping you can come to a way of moving forwards even if that is finding another suitable car which is available quickly.

                                                    This is disgusting. Are Motability going to help? This whole thing seems deeply suspicious to me. I would craft a careful complaint being polite and sticking to facts and write to the dealer principle.

                                                    It might be worth enquiring with another dealer see if they can locate a stock car that can be delivered to you relatively quickly

                                                      Is this Pulman Durham or Sunderland?

                                                      I had good service from the Durham branch when I bought a couple of Yeti’s from them but once I collected my Motability Enyaq and reported the poor quality of the Canton sound system that quickly changed to “Not interested, b@gger off” 🙁

                                                      Certainly won’t giving them any further business, I’ll take it to Newcastle or Darlington for the servicing.

                                                        Pulman Cramlington, I believe the one in Newcastle is Skoda Lookers. Just got off the phone with motability as no response via the handlers email. Order is gone completely, just tried to ask if we could reinstate with the Lookers garage but they had no answer as the car was at the factory
