Hello fellow Skodians. I hought I would start this thread, as there seems to be quite a few either taken ownership, placed orders or just thinking about getting the best ev out there.
So, any questions that someone may be able to answer, any good or bad dealings with dealers, specs wanted or received, perhaps someone could help others in their quest

That’s the range
And it’s consistant and I would say correct .
But it can’t be
Longest distsnce between charges has beenen 280 miles and it had 11% left and its only changed to 80%
Not charged it to 100% other than the day I collected it.
It’s more economical than both my teslas ,just not as fast
Then my car got to the UK it was in tge docks for 1 day then at the dealers.
Just letting you guys know as I wasn’t happy with what I could find about range or economy
Had 5.2mi/kw when I tried hard lol
June 16, 2024 at 3:47 pm #282125I ordered an 85 Edition (loft, no extras), on 25th November and collect tomorrow.
When doing the inspection, other than a general check, what would folks advise to focus in on or double check?
June 16, 2024 at 4:40 pm #282126Tyre pressures correct?, transport blocks removed?, charging cable and puncture repair kit in boot?, 2 keys?
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!

June 16, 2024 at 5:02 pm #282133Thanks Folks! Is there anything specific to the Enyaq, or faults that people wished they had noticed before leaving the dealership? I know, I could have a problem free car, but wanted to be conscious of a quick scan of these more specific potential issues.
June 16, 2024 at 11:38 pm #282169Make sure your car paired with your phone
As mine didn’t have Internet 4g so wouldn’t pair with my phone .
Turned out the the final handshake the care does with the production line wasn’t complete.
30 mins in the workshop , everything was OK x
June 17, 2024 at 7:21 am #282185Thank you, I wouldn’t have thought to check that aspect and would save having to return if there is a problem.🙌
June 17, 2024 at 11:00 am #282198June 17, 2024 at 11:03 am #282199The 4g was missing in the top left corner, and they hadn’t come across this before.
20 mins and and a setting altered by the workshop
Bosh done

Fairly common fault, if happens in future simply remove fuse 19 (online services) for few mins
and should reset connectivity.
Saves a trip to dealer.
June 17, 2024 at 7:12 pm #282233The guy from the workshop said it was in a build or factory setting, and needed to basically be told it was finished been built.
He did allsorts to it before plugging it in to be fair.
He had not seen it before .
I only know what i am told.

Yours may have been something more serious, mine was the same .
The car tries to obtain signal every few hours initially then reverts to twice a day thereafter and you usually get “E” symbol.
I had tech on phone for hours and reactivated services with them and they then booked in for some sort of GSM module repair, tried removing fuse rather than go workshop and then bloody worked.
Seems to do the job for 9-10 people.
Happy motoring 🙂
June 17, 2024 at 8:16 pm #282238Crikey.
I have to say, I’m seriously considering cancelling my Enyaq order due to all these issues that I keep hearing.
I’ve never considered doing that before due to some internet reporting, but this VW platform seems relentless. 🙁
June 17, 2024 at 8:34 pm #282242I test drove an enyaq suv 85x Sportline plus today – really like the practicality of it ( wheelchair fits in the boot with the wheels still on and the parcel shelf in place) I also like how it looks more like a “normal” car
considering ordering it in race blue with the advanced package and sunroof. Salesman said it could be December 24/ Jan 2025 delivery but that potentially Škoda may build a car available for stock before then that I could get.

I would take that with a pinch of salt, we ordered 1st week in January and it looks like it could be October, although no confidence or won’t be pushed back further, I think you would be looking closer to March/April next year.
June 17, 2024 at 8:41 pm #282244I wouldn’t believe the salesman timescales.
I ordered mine Dec 27th, and was told it would be May for delivery. Now it’s September.
June 17, 2024 at 8:47 pm #282247These dates are mad. I ordered 30/12 and it’s due in the next week or 2.
June 17, 2024 at 10:58 pm #282263That 4g thing was resolved the day I collected the car.
Never had a issue since ,4g is constant.
The software is 4.1 zero problems with Infotainment.
And had no problems with anything else ,( other than me getting use to things.
Would I get another one .
In a heart beat ,yes.
June 18, 2024 at 6:26 am #282271I was quoted 16 weeks when I ordered an 85x last November, current guesstimate from the dealer is “sometime in October “.

June 20, 2024 at 12:50 pm #282485Does anyone know exactly what you “lose” when the included subscription to the online services expire (after 1 or 2 years according to various sources) – it’s difficult to narrow it down as the skoda website is vague at best and most online posts relate to other models or other VAG vehicles which MAY be the same and may not be.
With the current build times, along with the time to the end of the lease you can order something new, I think it’s pretty safe to assume we’ll all be well into year 4 of a lease before changing, so this could add up in a hurry.
I know on the current VW Tiquan I have, I “lost” the ability to check mileage, journey history and door/window lock/open status, but those things I can (and do) live without, but if it also kills functions like pre-heat in the winter, pre-cool in the summer, those are features I don’t NEED but were definitely something which made me swing towards the enyaq/ev option.

June 20, 2024 at 3:11 pm #282497This is something I was thinking about too. The Skoda connect services last 3 years but what happens when we go over that because of delays to our orders. This would affect our sat nav live updates.
