Hello fellow Skodians. I hought I would start this thread, as there seems to be quite a few either taken ownership, placed orders or just thinking about getting the best ev out there.
So, any questions that someone may be able to answer, any good or bad dealings with dealers, specs wanted or received, perhaps someone could help others in their quest

After almost 5 months, I got to meet my car tonight ahead of official collection. I am so happy with it! It still has all the paint protection film on the outside and seat protection inside.
However the dealership had it hooked up and was fully charged which is great!
Collection will be almost 5 months after the order was placed.It has been a long wait but after seeing it tonight in the colour I have ordered with the accessories I specified I am over the moon.
i will keep my fingers crossed that Motability change their policy on buying the vehicle during my lease because if first impressions are anything to go by, I would love to keep it!

Ordered 31/10/23, Delivery 27/3/24Our 85 sport line plus is ready for collection. This is the non 4×4 version as when we ordered we had the option of 4×4 2499 AP or 2099 AP. We ordered the non 4×4. Now the 85x 4×4 is 2099 AP and I would like to know anyone else in this situation and what happened at pick up as it seems unfair to pay the same price for the non 4×4.
@Colin Mine was ordered on the 10th of October and I collected it this week on Tuesday. I hope that helps? Once I was advised that it had left the factory, I was slightly quicker than I was expecting.
Does kinda help a little – I ordered just before Christmas so about 9 weeks after you, probably puts me about 8 weeks from getting the car – thankyou (well if I’m correct assuming it was a sportline 85x)

Just back from the dealer. We’ve ordered an 85x Sportline plus in moon white. Lead time is about 18 weeks so he said he’ll see us at the end of July. I think this is the first time in a long while I’m genuinely excited about getting a new car.
Yup mines due late April, very excited first time I’ve had a high spec high value vehicle like this, really looking forward to the AWD and longer range.
Being able to get all the way to the theme parks without stopping will be awesome

Ordered 31/10/23, Delivery 27/3/24Race Blue is the Enyaq’s stand out colour. It will look really eye-catching on a supermarket car park. I also like the Graphite grey, but you would have to stand for a while to pick it out from all the other grey cars, lol. It looks very refined in Black as well.
Just had an email from my dealership advising that my Enyaq Coupe build date has been moved back from week 16 to week 23 (W/C 3rd June). They say it could be moved either way before then! So that’s a 7 week delay as it stands!

When did you ordered yours? We ordered 29/1 and best told same week and 3 weeks ago we found out that it was pushed to week 18. Not sure now ?
Feel a bit gutted! But I’m not in a hurry so no pressure to get it. Ordered on 27th December.

did they say why? Seems strange that their delivery volumes look like they are on the rise.

I use to have a VrS Octavia back in the day which was the same colour. By far the nicest colour car I owned. Grey I find looks smart but it’s boring. I would have had silver or white as other choices but blue is my fav colour and this blue is really deep and lustrous.

Ordered 31/10/23, Delivery 27/3/24I ordered my estate Sportline plus 29/12 and got an email that the build date was brought forward to w/c 22/4 dunno what I’ll do if it slips as it’ll mean no car as they won’t pay for a hire car after that. I doubt there’s anything else suitable that’s in stock sooner. If they take it back I’ll have to quit the scheme until the car arrives and use the money to pay for temp insurance etc

Ordered 31/10/23, Delivery 27/3/24So I got another update from Škoda and form build week 16 they pushed to week 24 ?♀️?♀️ I don’t get it. If they allocated date why they keep changing it ;(
I’ve asked question if I cancel my order and pick something from stock will I lose my deposit or this will still count. Currently awaiting respond. Will see.
My dealer updated me earlier saying my order had slipped slightly. He did say that the provisional build date has been changing, but currently slipped from April build to May (Week 21).
Rich44: Are you currently using Motability? If so then you’ll be able to keep your current car until the new one is ready – My current car would have got back on the 1sst March otherwise.
I remember (pre 2000) when Motability DIDNT do this, and it truly was a nightmare!

Just over 8k with AP. It’s my first car on motability and first new car since 2009 – had a rough year last year and needed something to focus on that brought me out of that period. I know there will be people asking why I have wasted money on extras when its not my car but the way I see it is that it is my car for 3 years and I want to enjoy all of it.

Ordered 31/10/23, Delivery 27/3/24I am already a Motability customer but I’m in a hire car that they just texted to say they’re collecting on 2/4 so I’m completely screwed.
Have to see if I can borrow money to buy a banger with mot for a month or so massive waste of money but what else can I do. I’ll have to ask for my allowance back until the Enyaq is ready to pay for it
I’m getting a bit hacked off with my dealer. Phoned him several times and have left messages for him to call me back. Have emailed him but nothing.
If it carries on like this, I’ll cancel and order from elsewhere or hopefully there will be something else I fancy on the scheme come Tuesday.

I totally agree and if was just up to me I would have done the same 100%, I bet the car looks amazing and I hope you fully enjoy it

i think the only thing I am a little miffed about is how the YouTube videos show the ambient lighting in the car and how the interior doors light red when they are opened to show other traffic the door is open….. whilst a selectable function, doesn’t work unless you pay for it and it’s a total of £50. I think it’s pretty petty to charge customers to use ambient lighting and footwell lights in the car. The salesman showed me how to work the lights and I couldn’t help think that they weren’t bright…. It’s because they weren’t on!
