Hello fellow Skodians. I hought I would start this thread, as there seems to be quite a few either taken ownership, placed orders or just thinking about getting the best ev out there.
So, any questions that someone may be able to answer, any good or bad dealings with dealers, specs wanted or received, perhaps someone could help others in their quest

Can I ask what date you’ve been given when ordered car ? Will they manage to achieve this date or you will gate it later?
February 1, 2024 at 12:19 pm #256987On my copy of the order it says estimated delivery 26th May 2024.
The dealer said he’d let me know more information as soon as its available.

if you got a build week date than more likely you will get it on time or even before 😉
I just wondering why my dealer was so “optimistic” and estimated delivery date is 14 April ? might be because it’s not a sportline ?? I don’t like wait and do nothing ? I guess this will give me patience lesson.
February 1, 2024 at 7:19 pm #257035Well I’ve decided that if they don’t sort out these issues I’m going to cancel my order.
February 3, 2024 at 2:32 pm #257201Just an update for anyone else with an Enyaq / Enyaq Coupe on order. We ordered 2nd Jan and was told 12/14 weeks for delivery. Just spoke to dealership today and said it was now hopefully 20/24 due to demand. We’ve cancelled our order as we cannot wait that long due to circumstances.

I was told 20 weeks too for the coupe.

Ordered estate on the 11th January and without prompting him he told me he’d no build slots until start of February and it would be at least 5-6 months.
My head’s been turned by the new 3008e. I will have a think and decide by Monday morning.
February 3, 2024 at 3:42 pm #257216I’ve ordered coupe just because it was around 20 weeks (mid June) instead of 28weeks for regular enyaq which would be end of August. However on my contract delivery date for now is 15/4. I do not expect they will make it. But will see 🙂
February 3, 2024 at 4:01 pm #257220Ive got a 3008 at the moment it’s okish if you don’t need the size of the Enyaq. It’s not as well spec’d and build isn’t as nice but it’s still nicer than others. Personally I’d find a way of waiting or decide after you’re given more info as it’s still all guesses right now
February 3, 2024 at 5:07 pm #257233Just test driven the Enyaq and after my first dealing with the dealership being less than a pleasant experience this pre booked test drive was very different with lots of time spent answering my questions and allowing me to try different specs and different seat interiors.
I narrowed my choice down to the 85 edition suite estate AP £1699
positives
- Memory and electrical adjustable leather ( ish) front seats
- Heated front seats and steering wheel
- it felt a higher seating position than the Q4 but I had driven an s line at audi
- comfortable and easy to drive
- stock cars available as I’m not fussy on colour
- electric boot
- rear window big and clear views
negatives
- I didn’t find the dash as easy to intuit as the q4 also although it’s clearly high tech it just wasn’t as high quality looking and feeling as the Audi ( to me)
- The interior doesn’t feel as comfortable as the Q4 although it still was a comfortable ride
the tech is fantastic for the price and the £2400 AP difference is significant over the Audi. The presence of the memory seats is potentially a deal clincher here. I’ve got some mulling to do

have you considered or are you worried about the RWD in winter especially with the high torque of the APP550 motors and the 85 Edition is not AWD

excellent question. Yes , we live rurally and do get snowed in and having been housebound before for days because our cars were RWD and couldn’t even get off our slightly uphill driveway we always have at least one 4×4 in the household. I was told the Enyaq all wheel drive option came with only material seats, no leather.

RWD EV will perform better in snow than RWD ICE, due to weight distibution and fancy technology.
AWD & RWD Enyak

February 4, 2024 at 12:37 am #257274Everybody saying they received the sportline but not posting pics
Lets see the badboy then in the flesh
February 4, 2024 at 6:55 pm #257369Ordered our 85 edition on Jan 20th. Told to wait about three months for a build date then a further three for the build. We were given a date of around end of July/ early August. We waited 5 months for our last car so not too bad a wait.
February 5, 2024 at 9:48 pm #257515Heads up for anyone that ordered an 80 SL+ (non-x) which then got converted to an 85 SL+ (non-x); make sure your dealer calls Motability and puts through a new bespoke application with them. Because it’s only the 85x on the scheme, the dealer can’t automatically switch it from their end to the 85. If they don’t do this then the car will incorrectly get insured as an 80. Just been through this myself. Motability have had to get in touch with dealer directly to push through a bespoke application for the 85.
February 6, 2024 at 8:39 am #257524Thats slightly bizarre, as Skoda do not do a 85 SL+ (non-x). all sportlines are now 85x, everything else is an 85 edition, 85 L&K or 85 vRS
February 6, 2024 at 12:08 pm #257584In Europe they still do an 85 Sportline (no plus) as shown below
February 6, 2024 at 6:10 pm #257653Did the dealer change the advance payment when we ordered ours the ap was 2099 which is the same price now as the 85x
i pressume if we ordered the 80x and this would be converted to 85x so the ap would be altered to the new amount

In my case dealer can’t change the AP as the 85 isn’t on the Motability system. I imagine the bespoke application created is for the same AP. So it remains at £2099. An order for an 80x would 100% be converted to an 85x, but whether or not the AP will be lowered is entirely down to the dealer. Motability rules say it’s not possible, some dealers choose to abide by this, others will gladly lower upon request, and others will proactively lower it. Always worth an ask, but don’t hold it against them if they say no, it’s going against Motability rules after all.

It’s been mentioned in this thread many times. Skoda publication revealed that orders for 80 SL+ should be converted to an 85 SL+, and orders for an 80 without Clever pack should be converted to an 85 base spec, not Edition. Neither car technically exists in the UK, certainly not as a new factory order, but they have/are being manufactured. To caveat this, Skoda haven’t been following this religiously as some 80 SL+ have been converted to 85x SL+, and some base spec 80’s have been converted to 85 Editions.
February 7, 2024 at 9:52 am #257689Has anyone actually seen one of these mythical 85 Sportline 2wd?
I keep seeing on here this so called Skoda document (please donto post again) without any proof its actually real. One person pists it and because its on social media it must be real, yeh, right.
If no one has actually seen the 85 sportline 2wd, has anyone got direct correspondence from Skoda confirming this mythical beast?
M8re chance of seeing Nessie…
February 7, 2024 at 9:58 am #257690I posted it with price off Skoda Europe’s website yesterday took all of 1 minute to find
