Nice Joss, nearly there. I just got an email from my dealer saying it’s at the port waiting to be shipped and that I should have it before the end of the month.
Not sure if this was in the drive smart FAQ before, but I have just seen they also want to tell us / limit how much we should use our cars that we pay for? I can see it states it doesn’t impact the lease but then why bother collect that information? I can see it being used down the line with perhaps more stringent policies for certain people.
Hi all, I was just wondering whether on pick up day if there are any more agreements to be signed other than handing over the pin. I’m asking as I ordered in August and on the Contract Hire Agreement T&Cs it simply states that it’s a pre contract, and since then the smart drive for example has been added to the terms that wasn’t there before.

Did someone say that APs are now searchable up to £15k? Maybe the BMW X5 will join? They do a PHEV one? Just shy of 500 bhp. Put me down for one

Did you order a diesel Tayron? When I went to VW to look at it, I was told the diesel Tayron has massive delays.
I truly can’t fathom some of the data they will collect. Why on earth will they need to track us 24/7 with the type of permissions that they are requesting. Someone signed this off without knowing what is involved.
This has got to be a breach of privacy at some level. Currently weighing up cancelling my order.
Don’t like this one bit. Get’s much worse when you read the T&Cs. Also having it on the windscreen is just what people need to be easily identified as a Motability customer, as if that reg site wasn’t enough hassle.
I was at a VW dealer up North the other day and was told the diesel Tayron had “heavy delays” if anyone was looking to order. Tiguan is a 4-6 months wait
I quite like the boxy look personally. Seems as though a 2026 facelift is due so can see that as a reason for it appearing on the scheme now. Also struggling to find any online examples of the base spec that has the same horizontal grill as the one shown on the site. Agree with others that the small engine is questionable too. Hope we get more trims and engine choices as they phase out this older gen
