I received a phone call from Volvo Chester this morning. Although I had test-driven a few of their cars a couple of weeks ago, they have been constantly contacting me. I informed the caller that I wasn’t interested for the third time and Mobility had removed their cars from the scheme, but he claimed that they were still available in their system. I requested him to double-check and get back to me. Nothing yet, six hours later!
I’ve noticed that many new cars with LED headlights have daytime running lights or dipped beams that either turn off completely or dim down to highlight the indicators. On our Mazda CX-60, the indicators are integrated into the daytime running light. When we indicate, these turn off, and the bright orange light pulses. This can be seen more clearly at night on street signs where the orange reflection is brighter than our extremely bright Matrix LED lights. In contrast, older-style cars have indicators that are difficult to see.
On the day of collection, I paid over £8k AP using my debit card. Before paying, I had a walk around the vehicle to ensure everything was satisfactory. I made the payment and then entered my unique pin All payments made through credit, debit, and bank transfers are immediate. This is the third time I have used this payment method for vehicles on the scheme without any issues.
Over the weekend, I visited the BMW Dealership to take a look at the BMW 330E M Sport and IX1. During my visit, I was informed that the I4 model would not be returning to the scheme due to back orders and the high cost associated with the new facelift.
