This was a good informative video. However the 38 mpg on the motorway is a bit poor. I was hoping for at least 50 mpg on the motorway.

38 mpg on the motorway omg how fast were they going ?

To quote him ‘a touch over 70’ lol. Hmm a motor nut on his way to Silverstone who had already stated he will not get near official figures, hinting at the way he drives.

      Still a very positive review.

I’m trying to talk myself into this car, but it’s too smaaaaal for car camping.

I forgot what size it was so just had a wee Google to see.

        L. 4568

        W. 1840

        H. 1620

        Boot 370 ltrs

To try and put that into perspective for me my old Kona EV is L 363 smaller, W 40 smaller H 50 taller and the zrv gains an extra 38 ltrs.

What really shocked me was when I compared it to the Tucson as the zrv is slightly longer but just very slightly narrower than it.

The base model Enyaq estate 60 is nil AP. Absolute bargain.

Definitely cat swinging size and plenty capable of getting around nicely for long journeys, Enyaq Gorm has several videos of him going huge distances in his 60 and doing absolutely fine.

Watched his recent one over the weekend where he had to pick up his son last minute with hardly any charge. Easily done with no dramas! We’re ordering next week but going for the 85 Ecosuite, we visit the Southwest a few times a year, we could just about do it with 1 stop in the 85 and for the extra few hundred quid it was worth it.

Joe Joe the eco suite is the leather I believe, but does it only come in the brown/tan colour?

No 85 models yet in our dealership and even worse it was a low spec model. But after seeing the Astral, BZ4X and Enyaq my other half likes them in that order which is the same as me.

Astral is beautiful but not EV so not really happening, bz4x we both prefer on looks, meanwhile the Enyaq at the ap makes the most sense tbh.

So I’ve 6 weeks until I can order but it’s looking like the 85x sportline in black.

But I would really love to see the edition next to the sportline or even in the same compound just to compare.

I managed to get through to my dealer at 0930 today. Extended test drive booked for tomorrow morning. Very very helpful but did say they had a lot of motability interest in the 30 minutes they’d been open… Anyway, the lead time was only a few weeks unless you want spec additions. I think I’d want the rugged pack. See how tomorrow goes ?

4 dealerships today and 3 were dead and the honda one was very busy. I had to hover about and wait to get someone to get the keys to open it. I know three were motabillity customers. I’m not nosy but some folk aren’t quiet lol

Just back from the dealership and was in the sport model in Metallic blue with black alloys. It’s a lovely looking car inside and out. Decent materials inside, similar to what Peugeot are doing.

It’s to small as I’ve my heart set on car camping and non EV so I’m out, but its a great car for the price and well worth anyone’s time to have a look.

Has it put you off Des ? My Chr was assembled in Turkey of all places so I can’t complain

Wouldn’t put me off in the slightest. This car is just to small for me or I’d be very interested.

I’m going over to Skoda soon and will call into honda and have a look at it. All our main dealers are right beside each other.

Good review and I totally get your wife but in my case it was a big ugly transit for years. So I do like the cocoon/cockpit feeling of most cars now.

As for the range, mine was always poor. Some folk on here were claiming over 300 miles on a charge, I’m not saying they’re liars, but I don’t believe them lol. No matter how hard I tried I could not get over 270ish and it’s no way to live/drive just to achieve that range.

Oh mine did have a fault were there was a big gap between bonnet and front end. A quick Google told me how to fix it and it did add about 15-20 mile to my range

Just read that it’s assembled in China

Yeah I seen that on the forum. Someone spotted that part of  the vin number? Means its built in China

Cheers folks. Might nip over to the showroom and see what there. Mind I’ve been to two different dealers to see the 80 and they’ve only had 80 sportline X model in the room. It would be nice to see them in the flesh and beside eachother.

Just had a look on the Skoda website and there appears to be plenty of stock available of edition and a few sportline.

Their words ‘available immediately’ ‘available 1-2 weeks’ ‘available nationwide’. I didn’t dig to deep into it but just incase it helps someone.

Folks the difference between the edition and the sportline x apart from 4×4 is just styling? So would they have the exact same equipment levels but just look different?

I have asked this before but I’ve forgotten… sigh

<p style=”text-align: right;”>Mike  I was just reading through the forum liked above to see what owners thought of it. There’s very little in it mind one poster had an hour and a half test drive and returned 52mpg mostly motorway, a roads and some town driving.</p>
Also one saying about road noise which would be a big negative for me.

The Enyaq I wanted is 400 cheaper and the most suitable car, but I really like the BZ4X so some thinking to do if the price drops.

TBF both are suitable just that the Enyaq slightly more.

I know nowt about it but do recall posts about bhp being limited, but think maybe it’s for ice cars?

Anyways speed does not interest me in the slightest. I’ve yet to be in a car that can’t overtake easily enough and that’s the important bit.

I drove an uncles Sierra cosworth many moons ago and it did nowt for me at all, same with my first mb car the 2ltr TD astra which was fast. Also my EV now has definitely made me more of a chilled driver, not for economy either. I just find it more relaxing than

Back on topic, as the seal and 6 are similar looking outside I do prefer the interior of the 6.

I just had a look online and the Kona I’m in now which I thought was fast does 0-62 in 7.9 seconds.

Porsche mecan does it in 4.5 seconds

Ferrari 448 spider does it in 3 seconds.

The 4wd seal does it in 3.8 seconds

This was just a quick browse there so I’m presuming these figures are right…

Which means that model will never be on the scheme lol

Oh and 5.9 for the RWD seal

                                              Id5 ?

looks like a more competitive AP from VW (compared to the id4 at least) hopefully this is a sign of things to come with all manufacturers.

This one came out as the one we wanted and while is only our opinion, we like it better. Have you got one?
