I really hope this appears on the scheme, this would definitely tempt me back to the scheme.
Fingers crossed ???
It is very strange, why not just hold your foot on the brake or apply the handbrake, even in an emergency the handbrake can usually be activated whilst in motion if held in the on position for a short period.
Will be interesting to read what the vehicle inspection identifies.
If it is a genuine fault, might rush out and buy my ex husband an MG, ???
Link below, very strange story.

September 27, 2023 at 8:58 pm in reply to: Tesla chargers for non-Tesla EVs. Anyone used them? #234909Yes have used the Tesla Superchargers at Trafford Centre, Manchester.
Just download the app, add a payment method and off you go.
Fantastic, hassle free charging network, but currently limited number of sites open to charging Non Tesla’s.
Wow, that sounds like a great deal, so the AP on the Ariya Advance 63kw is currently £5499.
So £2500 from Nissan plus Motability £750 New Car reduces the AP down to £2249.
That is a cracking deal.
Any idea on delivery times?
August 17, 2023 at 12:43 am in reply to: 4WD SUV EV’s on the scheme – what’s the likelihood?… #230300Hi SuperJon
The Kia EV6 is classed as a small SUV, it is available on the scheme in an all wheel drive version, but the ap is pretty hefty at £7,999
Hope that helps.
I popped into my Audi dealer and the salesman said he had heard that the car would have the heat pump as standard before end of year? Anyone else heard this as not seen anything anywhere? Thanks
Interesting take on the Q4 eTron heat pump here
August 6, 2023 at 7:24 pm in reply to: Things have just taken a massive turn….BMW i4 to join the scheme #229272Life got in a mess earlier this year and was about to be homeless, Motability aloud me to return the Kona in March, and I brought a 2009 Passat Estate, at least I could live in there. Luckily since then I’ve managed to find a new home, so just been waiting for the right car.
Thanks for all your help, especially keso. I am going to marshalls tomorrow, to place an order. Just dont what colour, green or orange?
The green looks stunning in the sunshine, what a lovely colour, but out of the sun it is very dark.
Are you opting for any extras? Looks great with the tinted rears.
Has anyone ordered an Audi Q4 on the scheme? Have you been given an approximate delivery date? Thanks
I went for a look at the Q4 e-tron and asked about delivery.
I was told approx 12 months.
However, they did state that there was available stock in the UK of a couple of Sport 40 if you were not wanting a specific colour. They also advised that a new factory order would come with leather seats, adaptive cruise control and something else as standard. But the vehicles currently available didn’t have leather or adaptive cruise.
Hope that helps.
July 27, 2023 at 1:39 pm in reply to: Things have just taken a massive turn….BMW i4 to join the scheme #228285Didn’t realise the green was so dark, was going off the pictures on BMW website.
Might look at the silver or maybe the ?
Wish they would phone me back confirming my test drive, been waiting since 9am this morning.
July 27, 2023 at 12:48 pm in reply to: Things have just taken a massive turn….BMW i4 to join the scheme #228280That’s interesting to know @72-dudes
Same here, just sent the Tiguan back after 3 years.
Was hoping for another SUV type fully electric vehicle, but the i4 looks so nice.
Just worried about entry and exit, had a sit in a Tesla Model 3 and was just too low and height between cill and top of door frame was limited.
Fingers crossed local dealership are in touch soon for a test drive.
Looking at the green, with tinted rears and the lumbar support.
fingers crossed

Just awaiting a call back from local dealers to arrange test drive.
What was the height like? For getting in and out of the vehicle?
July 26, 2023 at 11:07 pm in reply to: Things have just taken a massive turn….BMW i4 to join the scheme #228173OMG, 9-12 month delivery, wow.
I’m ready now for my next vehicle, not used to these long delays.
I was hoping some dealers may have stock, I presumed that was why they came on to the scheme, same as the VW ID5.
Will have to keep looking, fingers crossed I can find something suitable with a shorter delivery.
July 26, 2023 at 9:46 pm in reply to: Things have just taken a massive turn….BMW i4 to join the scheme #228160What was the quoted delivery time on this John?
Oohh, just read all the info on VW link above.
All this talk of unzipping and zipping has put me off?♀️?
Thanks, will check in the morning.
Thanks for that Belfast4, just need to find the SD card now. ?♀️?♀️?♀️
Joss
So sorry to hear this.
I really hope you start to feel better very soon.
Don’t give up, hopefully each day will show a slight improvement.
Sending you all the best

That is really nice Mitch.
Love that colour and the roof goes so well.
Enjoy it.I have a big one
Thanks for sharing that with us Mike ???
I had a flat tyre recently, never even crossed my mind to phone Kwik Fit first.
I contacted RAC and they prioritised the call, next available mobile patrol came to me, was there in 25 minutes.
They put one of these new rubber plugs in the tyre and told me to go to Kwik Fit the next day for them to sort it.
was excellent service
Looks lovely Colin, looking forward to more pics and following the upgrades you have planned
I just checked where our X1 is and it’s inside the workshop of Marshalls BMW Bournemouth where it should be, having its first service today (at 18 months and 15,000 miles).
Is that a tracker that you have had fitted or is it something that comes as standard with new BMW’s
Too much information
Bradford JCT VW are horrible – the worst I’ve come across – that’s why I go 70 miles to East to good old Roger in Hull!
Couldn’t agree with you more Zaheer.
I went in there 2 weeks ago, unhelpful, showed no interest whatsoever.
I only wanted to ask about delivery times and sit in a Tiguan.
Walked out of there, would never step foot in the place again
