No I live in a city and have heavy right foot and still averaging 42.6 mpg. See pic above.

I’ve had my XC40 B4 for just over a month and been averaging 40 to 42mpg without really trying. I’m pleasantly for such a heavy car was expecting low 30s.
Yes had a Megane E Tech had to terminate the lease only 2 months in for various reasons. We collected the car prior to the attempted home charger installation and it turned out they couldn’t install the charger as our home electrics required an upgrade which would cost thousands so we had to rely on local public chargers which was a nightmare and costly (65p kWh) probably more expensive than petrol. We also never had no more than 180 miles a charge and that was driving sensibly. Loved the car but hated charging it. I travel from my house in Cobham to Brighton once a week which is a 100 mile round trip and the car couldn’t make it without a charge (all motorway) We would have kept the car if we could have had a home charger. We went back a petrol XC40 last week.
I’ve ordered a xc40 B3 Plus for £1999. My local dealer has two on site ready to go. All being well I collect next Tuesday /Wednesday.
Thanks I’ve seen a few dealer pricelists. Has anyone actually placed an order for a Volvo this week?
Does anyone know how some people can order a car when it’s not showing on the motability website. My dealer said each car has a code they input into the motability system and Volvo cars haven’t been allocated a code yet. Only reason im asking as my dealer has 2 XC40 sitting on site and I would like to get my order in asap to secure one.
Hi, they definitely aren’t back on the scheme my dealer checked today and they are unable to place an order on motability systems and they also aren’t showing on the motability website but like you say hopefully this changes tomorrow.
Has anyone heard when Volvo is coming back on scheme? I’ve contacted my local dealer twice they initially said 19th then 23rd but they are now saying they don’t have a date.
Please explain…..
My local dealer said it won’t be on the scheme this year.
I was involved in a non fault accident a couple of years ago and Mini Assist (Mini Breakdown Cover ) provided a courtesy car for 2 days while RSA arranged a courtesy car. This was at a no charge to me and separate to anything RSA/Motability cover. Breakdown cover is usually provided by car manufacturers while your car is under warranty so might be worth giving them a call until RSA arrange a courtesy for you.
Great looking car. Enjoy it!
Why are you wanting to cancel?
You need to contact the dealer and advise them ASAP with the collection date being next Wednesday. He won’t be happy!
If you scroll to the end of the price list. It’s in the T&C’s below

Thanks both. I noticed on Volvo’s website last night it says metallic paint included. Not sure if this was a recent change as I seen a previous post they were charging. I will be contacting my local dealer again tomorrow.
Did you have to pay extra for metallic paint? I’ve noticed on Volvos website it now says metallic paint is included but my local dealer thinks otherwise.
