Well we have had the car three days and love it already other cars have taken a while too get comfy in. But this is just like a comfy pair of slippers. Loving the new tech ACC and lane assist. Led headlamps OMG driving at night is brilliant and not been flashed yet so they must be set too correct height. Lots more tech still to investigate but getting there as i play around with the controls and find new features. Tarraco Excellence 190PS DSG AWD

I’m absolutely torn on this one! We have actually ordered a Tiguan r line 2wd 150 dsg which I’m sure will be great and a little more economical than the 4 drive but I went and sat in another taracco yesterday and actually thought it more comfortable than the Tiguan (even tho the seats are probably on the same frames). If Seat would offer a more appealing discount I’d cancel the Tiguan and choose taracco but up to now I’ve only got a £100 contribution offer?

Dont suppose i could be cheeky and ask if you could measure the boot with the 3rd row down? Id need to know the height to the sill, plus the length of the boot, and the height of the boot from the boot floor to the top of the opening, need to see if we could get the wifes pride fusion powered wheelchair in 🙂

Only done about 400 miles and averaging 38- 40 at moment. I know from Previous two VAG 2 litre diesels this will get better as more miles get on car.

Did you not have the same engine in the Alhambra HM? Looks like you have added an extra axle to your caravan too, I do like the central washroom layout, but just don’t have the budget for a new van as the children get older, busier and more expensive. Would be interested if you notice any advantages to AWD when towing that big Bailey.

Was a couple of horsepower less in the Alhambra. We swapped caravan two years ago, due too needing more space and fixed bed. Central washroom brilliant as one can be in bed whilst other in lounge and no disturbing each other. The only real criticism with Alhambra was the front end getting light pulling away on boggy fields and sites. Had the AWD Superb before Alhambra and decided go back to AWD. We are hoping to get away end of April in van, if wife gets ok. She just spent xmas and newyear and most of Jan in hospital 39 nights in total. I just had a blast tonight on junction with a lot of gravel pulling onto A1 where the ALhambra would always light up ESC with anything more than light throttle. Foot planted in sport mode and wohoo like a shocked whippet off she went.
