Ive noticed a problem with the original thread, taking me to page 1 of the thread. Assuming its the same problem as my original Brexit thread (stolen by WMC lol) that there were too many pages, i have started another weather thread (stolen from lightbodyae55 lol).

The only person who got all his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe.
Anything i post over three lines long please assume it is an article lol.

Same as weather wise. Doing about 9C right now. Should get to 15-ish. Bits of cloud come and go and, despite what Carol said on the Beeb, the bloody wind is still annoying. Still not serious shorts weather yet.

Yesterday was really nice and Sunny.  DH washed the sand off His Blueness and then we drove to Frimley Park Hossie for an MRI (to update my records for MS Specialist) – and it actually all went well this time.  Hurrah!

Better still, we bought some ice cream on the way home.  nom nom nom  >:-D

Weather today not so great, plus my Sciatica’s playing mild Silly beggers.  Not surprised after yesterday’s gymnastics.  Never mind – we’ve just polished off the last of the ice cream.

Ice cream and a visit to the MRI shop? You really know how to enjoy yourself, Georgie! Madam T and I often reminisce about going somewhere together which does not involve a medical facility of some sort. Eee… Those were the days…

Weather grey, cooler, less windy. Hmmm…

Nearly forgot… Summer is officially on the way. Yesterday, saw the first house martins of this year. Arrival of these and their swift and swallow companions always a precursor of summer. Bit late this year… have seen ’em as early as first week in April.

A lot nicer day than yesterday, went for a little stroll along the beach and my legs nor back thanked me for it so wasn’t in the mood to build sandcastles but a little sea air was nice 🙂

                  Ain’t that the truth!

“but a little sea air was nice”

Ditto.  Though in my case it’s more ‘Parking on Eastney seafront for 10 minutes or so and looking at the sea from the car, occasioning myself of the occasional 99 if the Ice Cream Van’s there.’

Except they’re now charging £1.80 for up to and hour, with no Free Parking for Blue Badge holders, so I won’t be doing that again.

On the up side, all the parking on Hayling Island is free for Blue Badge holders, and now that they’ve fixed the ‘big enough for a small child to fall into and be lost for ever’ pothole at the entrance to Eastoke Sea Front car park I shall be taking my 99 money there from now on.

                  Take that, Portsmouth Council!

                  >:-D

Cool and a bit cloudy. However, temperature and amount of sunshine are increasing even as I type. 6.30am temperature was 6C, not pushing 8C and forecast to strain its way up to 15C if we’re lucky. Hope so. A chap’s lawns are gagging for it. Similarly, the potted plants must receive a serious bit of attention from watering can. Hoping that some of them will make it as hanging baskets.

Finally starting to feel like Spring, proper. Temperature hit 20C today. Feels cooler because of the wind. Plenty of sun, fluffy clouds. Know than it really IS Spring now because the bats have woken up and  are providing entertainment at dusk. How DO they turn so quickly? Must be pulling about 30G! ????

Can’t match that, Mr file28. However, here on the Sussex coast it was doing 19C at 7am. Not bad for this time of year. Partly cloudy but when the sun gets through it feels jolly warm. Wind making it feel a tad cooler. Still not quite shorts weather.

It’s taken a while but it finally arrived. The first 2022 shorts-weather day. Doing 20C in back garden. Bright, clear, light wind. So my ex-RN proper shorts were donned for the first time this year. Not a fetching sight, it is true. But I’m past caring. Comfy, cool – so stuff the sartorial lack of elegance.

Out of personal interest Georgie, how much does a ’99 cost? I paid £2.50 the other day and could not be sure if that was a good price or not as its been so long since the last time i purchased one. Also, whippy or scoop? I always prefer a scoop but this one was a whippy and it was surprisingly tasty.

Dry at the moment. Fairly cloudy and damn windy (20mph according to Beeb forecast). Temperature forecast to reach 16C later. Was doing 15C at 7.30am so expect it’ll hit 18/19C. Rain said to enter the show at 2pm-ish. I have some hooks to put up outside for hanging plant stuff. So off to get the ladder now, before the wet stuff stops me using the electric drill.

The last one I had cost about £2 and I felt ripped off as the flake wasn’t even genuine Cadburys.

I use to love Mr whippy growing up but they don’t taste as nice these days.

Bright. Warm-ish. Dry but windy. Ridiculous inconsistencies in forecasts. Between the Beeb national figures and its local ones there is a difference of some 5C in temperatures and 10mph for winds in the same area. The online forecast is also completely different. Pah!

Bright, warm, light wind. Definitely gardening weather. And that’s gardening in shorts, as was yesterday. Temperature right now is 15C and forecast to be heading for 21C. Happy bunny, thank you weather gods.
