Ive noticed a problem with the original thread, taking me to page 1 of the thread. Assuming its the same problem as my original Brexit thread (stolen by WMC lol) that there were too many pages, i have started another weather thread (stolen from lightbodyae55 lol).

The only person who got all his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe.
Anything i post over three lines long please assume it is an article lol.

        @brydo

When you get a minute can you start a new ‘take three’ weather thread as this one is becoming a little heavy and i’m concerned it will start to fail.

Weather – cold, grey and miserable.  Just like me, day four of sleeping on a sofa bed,  two with covid and one with shingles.

        I’ve had enough.

Oh, @wmcforum that sounds a really rough deal. Hope everyone’s health improves and they get back to normal (and you back t0 a proper bed!).

Weather here improves: was 2C at 6.30am, now hitting 10C and still climbing. Bright, crisp and clear. Said to be getting warmer later in week, maybe even 20C. Fingers crossed (and shorts airing). ?

Not a pleasant time for you @WMC and hope the situation improves soon

Hailstones, some the size of marbles Thursday and Friday along with heavy rain at times. Currently blue skies ant a chilly 4c.

Boootiful day today.  Even the rain is held off this morning so DH could wash and carnauba wax Little Blue.  It is now pristine and gleaming.  All I need now is for my back to stop bitching so I can actually drive it. 🙂

Oooh, wmcforum – I feel for you.  One of my former work colleagues suffered (accurate usage) recurring bouts of shingles and it would keep him off work for weeks.  Plus a dose of covid as the ‘icing on the cake’?  Blimy!

Bright and, relatively, warm all day. Dug out ancient electric lawn rake and applied to grass before cutting with Big Thing. Nice result.

Little Blue? Sounds like a puppy, Georgie. Put a lead round the wing mirror and see if you can get it to sit! Or, whizz through the Dartford Crossing into Essex and see if it likes Barking. ? ?

Plenty of sunshine at the moment, but the breeze still has a bit of a nip to it.  Actually had a proper Dawn chorus this morning.  It’s been a bit feeble since the woods got thinned out and de-undergrowth-ed a few years ago.  Probably means the clearance team will be turning up any day to thin it all out again . . .

Tharg – I’ll shift Little Blue back over to the New car! thread.  I don’t want to be a Tread hog and most people can only take ‘so much’ of my waffle. 😀

Some cloud, 10C at 7am, now 12C and rising. Bright and breezy – very breezy, in fact – rather spoiling the whole Spring Thing.

Will follow you over the New car! thread to see Little Blue in his new kennel…

Cloudy but brightening. Doing 12C already, highs of 15+C forecast. May consider going down a layer in clothing to cope with heatwave. ?

Four days of lovely Sunshine and not-too-bad temperatures.  Drove down to Hayling Island on Sunday afternoon and, amazingly, it wasn’t all that busy.  I didn’t stop, but the tide was in and crossing Langstone Bridge in the sunshine and seeing all the little boats bobbing about always makes me smile.

I’ve cooked the chicken breasts – Coronation Chicken sarnies for lunch.  I’m now sort of mooching around waiting to go to the Dentist.  Just a check-up.  Gotta go for (yet another) MRI net week so my MS Specialist can update his info.  Head, neck and whole spine, this time.  40 minutes in the Personal Rave machine . . .

Thought today was going to spoil the recent spate of nice Spring weather. Cloudy, not warm, forecast rain. Well it got warmer, clouds did deliver a tiny spot of rain – about five drops per sq-ft. Then cleared to nice fluffy cumulus with warm sunshine.

Hope your MRI goes OK, Georgie. Just imagine “Bones” McCoy standing there complaining that the dilithium crystals shouldn’t be making so much noise. ?

Same as, only slightly better. Thin high cloud. Plenty of sun. Doing 7C at 6.30am, now pushing 15C and forecast to hit 18. More lawn mowing this afternoon I reckon. Actually considering shorts for the process. ? (Not green though)

Remains delightfully Springlike. Less than light wind spoiling it a bit. Quite warm (12C at the moment and climbing). Moreover, given that wind is from the east, I don’t understand how the Saharan dust is getting here. Yesterday’s sunset was unnaturally bright orange/red and this morning’s moon was a powerful yellow. ?
