Hello fellow Skodians. I hought I would start this thread, as there seems to be quite a few either taken ownership, placed orders or just thinking about getting the best ev out there.
So, any questions that someone may be able to answer, any good or bad dealings with dealers, specs wanted or received, perhaps someone could help others in their quest

I ordered an Enyaq 85x SportLine plus last week and was told it would be mid December at the earliest – possibly January 25, so does this mean the car will be a MY25 and if so what is the difference in specification if any?
thanks
2024 Enyaq 85x Sportline Plus, 2021-2024 5008 GT Premium, 2016-2021 Golf GTD DSG, 2013-2016 Ds3 D-sport 1.6 thp, 2010-2013 Mondeo 2.2 Titanium X, 2007-2010 Civic 2.2 EX, 2004-2007 Mazda 3 2.0 Sport, 2001-2004 Fiesta 1.6 Zetec-S, 1998-2001 Escort 1.6 Zetec
June 26, 2024 at 7:54 pm #283128It’s far too early to say.
There’s nothing much online about it and even then at this point it’s anyone’s guess when or what Skoda will do. I can’t see there being anything major as it’s only 8 months since the MY24 came out with some fairly substantial changes, new motors, battery controllers, operating system etc.
More info will become available around September/October.
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
June 27, 2024 at 10:09 am #283160For anyone contemplating an Enyaq but put off by the wait times, I have just collected a cancelled order Enyaq Coupe 85x Sportline that I located on the Skoda stock checker. I managed to go from initial appointment to collection in about 3 weeks, and it was only as long as that due to an adaptation needing to be fitted for me, or else it would have been quicker still. My advice would be if you see one on the stock checker, contact the dealer immediately.
Early days, but loving the car so far.

June 27, 2024 at 8:16 pm #283200We order our 85 Estate Ecosuite 2nd week of January and have just been told delivery is now September.
June 27, 2024 at 8:22 pm #283201I checked with the dealer today and my 30/12 order is now in Grimsby he’s hoping he’ll have a date soon, finally no more hire car, can’t wait
June 27, 2024 at 8:31 pm #283202Folks I know the wait and delays are a pain, but it’s so worth the wait, so hang in there! I’ve the car nearly two weeks now and it is by far the best car I’ve ever experienced. All the features in the car are enjoyable, but most importantly they really help take the pressure off driving and as a result have helped me manage pain and conserve energy, which is priceless!

That’s great news for you, I’m really pleased the cars are now coming through!
Hopefully mine won’t be far behind!

Glad someone is having better luck than us. We ordered our 85x Sportline (black, no options) before that, 22nd December. A couple days before that we were told 12-14 weeks which would have been March. When we actually ordered we were told May, then given a build week of 25 eta of July/August.
We have just had an update (after asking for one) and it’s now build week 31 so delivery August/September.
I’m normally very patient but the costs are starting to add up. I’ve estimated running our diesel tiguan costs roughly £70 a month more than the Enyaq will with home charging so those 6 months of delays is literally over £400 out of my pocket.

June 28, 2024 at 5:13 pm #283257I just spoke with my dealer and he confirmed my car has been build and awaiting yo be shipped. As we will be unavailable from 25/07 we agreed handover for 28.8. Which means in two months I will finally have it. Instead 20 weeks it will be 7 months 🫣🤣
June 28, 2024 at 6:48 pm #283262I’ve just had a call from the dealer saying my build week has now locked in for week 35. We ordered 22nd March. If that’s the case and it actually happens then I’ll be happy because we were originally given an estimate of week 32 when we ordered.

mine has it- it’s an improvement over the standard Laura IQ for sure. I find myself testing its knowledge by asking silly questions!

Glad you like it! My car was built a lot more recently than yours but doesn’t appear to have ChatGPT. Mine’s an 85 Edition with no extras.
I wonder what part of your package added the ChatGPT feature?
Does anyone know if Skoda intend to add this in future updates to existing cars as it would be great to have?
June 29, 2024 at 8:31 am #283305I didn’t get any notification of an update this time but notices that when I went to drive, the Infotainment booted up (can tell because it showed 85x graphic display before the Home Screen came on. I checked the software I do and I am still on 4.1. The only reason I know it is there is because it says “according to chatGPT” before answering the question.

June 29, 2024 at 8:39 am #283312I found a new feature yesterday- on the motorway I indicated to change lane and for the first time, the car head up display showed me an arrow and took the car into the overtaking lane to overtake. These cars will soon drive themselves!!

@Falcon1 Hmmm I’ve not had ChatGPT engage with me yet and I’m on version 4.1 as well. Enjoy!
@Jamiemc88 are you aware if there’s more to it than just having software version 4.1?June 29, 2024 at 8:53 am #283314I found a new feature yesterday- on the motorway I indicated to change lane and for the first time, the car head up display showed me an arrow and took the car into the overtaking lane to overtake. Cool feature, but I’m sure that must of freaked you out the first time it happened. The adaptive cruise control has been a game changer for me, but is unnerving initially, especially with the break pedal movement.
June 29, 2024 at 9:08 am #283315it’s never done it since I took delivery- I thought it was a feature that has been removed but low and behold it is there. I need to work out why it worked this time though- I must have had the car settings correct. I had a read up and it says that
“ Assisted Lane Change can autonomously perform lane changes on motorway-type roads at speeds above 90 km/h. All the driver has to do to start the manoeuvre is switch on the direction indicator (but only in the unlocked position). Assisted Lane Change uses data from a whole range of sensors.”
i guess the unlock position is having the stalk turned off?
Absolutely agree on the adaptive cruise- I set it to be as far from the car in front as possible and then relax as it’s speeds up and slows down – even coming to a stop at jams.

Ordered 31/10/23, Delivery 27/3/24June 29, 2024 at 9:10 am #283316So they were rolling it out from what I read, maybe brand new cars have it as default, then their rollout looks at older ones up to most recent? That would answer why yours is a newer car but doesn’t have it… YET! You will get it though- it looks like they roll out updates in strange ways!

Oh yes, deciding what you’re comfortable with for the distance between the cars is half the battle to relaxing into the automation. It’s a game changer for a driving experience!

Great to hear that it may be something I can receive with a future update. Yes, the comms and roll outs from Skoda leave a lot to be desired, but the car is worth it!
