Hello fellow Skodians. I hought I would start this thread, as there seems to be quite a few either taken ownership, placed orders or just thinking about getting the best ev out there.
So, any questions that someone may be able to answer, any good or bad dealings with dealers, specs wanted or received, perhaps someone could help others in their quest

I don’t understand why order delays would eat into the 3 year of data, surely that time starts from when either the car leaves the factory or the dealer either way the time loss would be negligible.
I see someone posted a link on some forums that you can buy data allowances out of contract but pricing was extortionate like £15 for 2gb. Better off just using your phone as a hotspot if it comes to it or use a personal hotspot device with a data sim, if it comes to it
June 20, 2024 at 3:48 pm #282499It’s not just about data. It’s also being able to access other connected services.
And it’s not about losing the data at the start of the lease. It’s at the end when we sometimes have to wait longer periods for our new car which means we’ve had these services activated for more than 3 years as we sometimes have the car more than 3 years.
June 20, 2024 at 3:58 pm #282501my data connection with the car is a 3 year agreement- not sure where you’ve seen 2 year.
this includes
Media Streaming- necessary for listening to web radio
Car Connect- remote access- which shows vehicle status, digital certificate and parking position
online data for travel assist – allows the driver to use the assisted driving function on roads where there is no standard (horizontal ) marking
infotainment online- includes online out calculation, charging stations, online voice control, parking spaces, online destination import, online traffic information, online map update.
smart apps bundle- includes, traffication and calendar
Hope this helps.

Ordered 31/10/23, Delivery 27/3/24June 20, 2024 at 3:59 pm #282502I have seen with Volvo leases that Volvo extended the services if the car went over its term- that may be more common now lots of cars have connected services so it would be worth asking if the car was to enter into an extended up to 5 year lease or if you are waiting a long time for a replacement.

June 20, 2024 at 5:52 pm #282516I have a BMW X1. My BMW connected services store shows unlimited term most services including Apple Car play. Only thing I have lost is Maps since mine went over 3 years.
June 20, 2024 at 6:01 pm #282517Have you asked your BMW dealer or Motability if they can help? Volvo customers seem to be able to get it easy

Ordered 31/10/23, Delivery 27/3/24June 21, 2024 at 2:09 pm #282610Thinking about vinyl wrapping my chrome grill surround in black vinyl to match the look of the sport line front end, as it’s only a vinyl that can be removed id imagine this would be okay on the scheme? I’d also like to have the brake calipers painted but I’m no sure that may be a step too far in regards to modifying the vehicle while on the scheme?

even though these are minor tweaks, I guarantee if you check with motability- they will say no. They won’t understand why you want to change the colour of the grille and no matter if you explain to them that it is temporary, they will say no. Painting the brake caliper is a permanent change and they will say no to that too. sorry to be a party pooper!

Ordered 31/10/23, Delivery 27/3/24June 21, 2024 at 3:26 pm #282615This is what I get for being impatient, wasn’t prepared to wait for a sportline model as they could get me a standard spec in 9 weeks as opposed to the almost 9+ months for the sport line. Oh well only 2yrs and 10months til I can order a sport line
June 21, 2024 at 4:10 pm #282620I have an 85x Sportline Plus with the advanced pack, to be honest you’re not missing anything from the basic spec apart from the all wheel drive and bits of black plastic trim given the £600 difference in price.
If I was ordering an Enyaq again it would be an 85 Edition. Yes I’d miss the Matrix headlights and HUD from the Advanced pack but I wouldn’t pay the £2035 for it again.
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!

That’s not quite right, Phaedra.
The Matrix lights aren’t part of the Advanced pack, they’re standard with the 85x Sportline (unless I’ve misunderstood!!) It is a shame the HUD isn’t standard though.
Plus you get the bigger 20″ alloys with the 85x Sportline.

June 21, 2024 at 5:43 pm #282636Everything I wanted in the car I use all the time – the only gimmick I do t like is the HUD- I thought i would love it but I’ve switched it off! I am enjoying the dynamic chassis control for altering the firmness or the ride. Also enjoying Internet radio. I am finding stuff all the time with it- a side effect of not having a paper manual to read!

Ordered 31/10/23, Delivery 27/3/24June 21, 2024 at 5:57 pm #282641I’d assumed they were part of the pack, the brochure says,
Over the 85 Edition, the Enyaq 85x SportLine Plus
features four-wheel drive, 20″ Vega anthracite
metallic alloy wheels , black sports styling,
progressive steering, aluminium pedals and
SportLine design selection with microsuede/
leather upholstery* and carbon effect decor. One thing I really hate about mine is the phone system! it’s just appaling, I’d say 90% of the time when I make a call it breaks up so badly I have to get out of the car, disconnect the bluetooth and then use the phone. It’s not my mobile, I’ve tried another make and both my son and daughters mobiles have the same problem. Of course the dealer says there’s nothing wrong with it. Had no problems with any of my previous cars.

I’ve just double checked (as I have an 85x sport line on order and wanted the Matrix lights).
It’s the Edition models that have them. This from the Pdf:
Exterior
Full LED matrix beam headlights with variable light distribution
Front fog lights
Headlight washersAnd, on the configurator options list, the Advanced pack has:
Canton sound system
hud
Rear heated seats
Front heated screen
June 23, 2024 at 1:33 pm #282792Good news!
My skoda dealer said to me I can pick my very own 24 reg number plate when I pick the car up in 6 months ( he will show me different registrations number plates too choose from) thats brilliant! 😊
Ask your dealers if they can also do that. Probably only takes them 10min to do this!.

Oh you’re getting a second hand Enyaq? 😆
Hopefully it’ll be a 74 plate by then!
Our BMW dealer gave us the choice of around a dozen different registration plate options.

June 26, 2024 at 4:41 pm #283114Hi does anyone know when the MY25 Enyaq Estate will be released, I’ve heard rumours of week 34 this year but that’s all.
June 26, 2024 at 5:51 pm #283121The change over week, if I remember correctly is around week 42 with production of the new models starting around week 44. By the time cars are produced and shipped it’s mid to late December before they arrive here.
As to what changes are made who knows!

June 26, 2024 at 6:16 pm #283122Yeah that’s what I’m pondering over at the moment but there is no information at all that I’ve found so far.
