Hello fellow Skodians. I hought I would start this thread, as there seems to be quite a few either taken ownership, placed orders or just thinking about getting the best ev out there.
So, any questions that someone may be able to answer, any good or bad dealings with dealers, specs wanted or received, perhaps someone could help others in their quest

My dealer called me earlier in the week to say that my assigned build date which had been changed from week 22 to week 18 3 weeks ago has moved back to week 22 again. Oh well, nothing you can do but wait. Of course though I took the opportunity to ask him to cancel and replace the order to give me the lower AP, which he has already done oncewhen the AP dropped last quarter . He was a bit reluctant explaining that Motability specifically tell dealers that they are not allowed to do this and that if they do, they must also cancel the factor order and, if the customer still wants the same vehicle, place a new one. WE left it that he would discuss it with his manager. A couple hours later I got a call to say it was done, and without deleting the factory order. It is at best unfair and at worst incompetent of Motability to be so inconsistent in their messaging which leads to only those with the awareness of how the system works and the confidence to challenge benefiting from that sloppiness. It has saved me £900 since I ordered the car but not everyone will be so fortunate.

I spoke with motability directly regarding changes to get lower AP as my dealership said no. Motability said to me it’s ok to cancel application and resubmit it for lower AP. If car’s price did not change since original order then card order with manufacturer can sty as it is. But if car is now cheeper then they will also have to cancel manufacture order and order new car in new manufacture price. Otherwise motability would loose money. They give permission to my dealer to change AP and as there is no change in price for Enyaq since we ordered in jan same car order remain.
April 9, 2024 at 10:46 pm #272376Spoke to my dealership yesterday and initially they said they didn’t believe it was possible to get the lower price as I had already had it adjusted in January from December’s price.
Fortunately, she put me on hold and came back several minutes later confirming she resubmitted my order for the new lower AP.
I ordered a standard 85x sportline plus with no extras.
Should hopefully have it in the next 3 weeks!

Our car is at the port in Germany waiting I’m assuming yours may be 2. Ours is bound for the port of Tyne. Maybe we get our cars the same day lol we also have the 85x
April 15, 2024 at 1:26 pm #272860Any movement on anybodies Enyaq? I think there’s a good few of us with cars sitting in Germany waiting on a lift over now.
April 15, 2024 at 1:28 pm #272861I haven’t heard from my dealer for almost 2 weeks now and last time build week was w/c 10th June
April 15, 2024 at 1:35 pm #272862It’s such a shame we have to wait so long. We waited about 6 months and now have had about car for about 2 weeks now. All I can say that is well worth it. We had a kodiaq before and it was only 3 years old but the enyaq is such a better all round car. The dealers need to step up with info as other suppliers are so much better. After a long decission and order process once we made up our mind it’s such a wait but you will be so pleased when it arrives.
April 15, 2024 at 2:06 pm #272893Mine was supposed to have a build date of w/c 22/4 it’s now slipped to end of May.
At this point I’m wondering if it’s going to be before winter tbh. I’d be tempted to order something else but if I ordered say the 3008 that wouldn’t be any quicker so……
April 17, 2024 at 8:42 am #275036Glad to read you are enjoying the car and couldn’t agree with you more about how impressive the car is. Picked mine up on Monday and am really pleased.
Had a Kia Soul previously and the Enyaq is in a different class altogetherBuild quality up there with marques in the class above and well worth waiting for. Hope everyone waiting, get their cars quick ?
April 17, 2024 at 3:25 pm #275756Does the coupe sportline come with park assist
April 17, 2024 at 3:44 pm #275764There is no Sportline trim, only 60 and 85 in Standard & Edition tims or the 85x (All Wheel Drive) in Sportline Plus trim (there is also the vRS but that’s not available on Motability).
The Parking Package Plus is only available as part of the Maxx Package, this is an extra £4,405 on Standard and Editon trims and £3980 on the Sportline Plus trim.
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
April 17, 2024 at 4:09 pm #275767Just had the glorious call to say we can collect next week so slightly ahead of schedule! 9 weeks from order to pick up

Which model did you order ?
April 17, 2024 at 4:25 pm #275769Just a 60 edition suite in race blue
April 18, 2024 at 1:02 pm #275835Ordered our 85 Edition Estate on January 20th. Just been told the build date is now first week of August. Previously told delivery would be late July early August so moved by maybe 6 weeks.
April 19, 2024 at 1:15 pm #275888Ordered an 85x Sportline Plus on 22nd March. Currently have a build date week 32 w/c 5th August but have been told it’s normal for this to move around until it locks in finally. Had my charger fitted this morning so the wait begins.
April 19, 2024 at 2:33 pm #275894Popped back into Pullmans with an appointment and actually spoke to one of their mobility guys this time and a much better experience!
Took us out showed my partner the safety features to put her mind at ease and started the process of ordering one, Flagged her account with an end date of august for her PIP claim as it is currently under review (although they’ve had the forms back for over 3 months…) but was advised he’s placed the order for the car (85x sportline plus) and he’ll link it to the Motability once the review clears.
April 19, 2024 at 2:59 pm #275896She’ll probably get a 12 month extension about a month before her PiP expires while they complete the review. It took my review 18 months plus the 12 month extension, its only just been finalised and a new award given! So good luck! ?
It does make ordering a new Motability car more difficult & frustrating!

April 19, 2024 at 4:48 pm #275903Thanks for that @Solymar, maybe I wont mention that to her as it’ll do her mental health the world of good! Why they pulled thousands of people into a review situation when they are already massively behind and with huge call queues is anyone’s guess especially when her claim was only 18 month old in the first place. Good ol’ DWP.. I do not miss my time working there.
Still silver lining of this beaut of a car and a currently amazing deal on the horizon.
April 19, 2024 at 8:05 pm #275925First wash for mine today- to mark its 100th mile!
2024 Skoda Enyaq estate- 85x Sportline plus in Race Blue. Extras: Supernova 21 inch wheels, Maxx Pack, Transport Pack, Heat Pump and Pano Sunroof.
Ordered 31/10/23, Delivery 27/3/24April 19, 2024 at 10:02 pm #275932Mine looked like that for about 2 days after I picked it up, never had a car that collects dirt as fast!.
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
April 19, 2024 at 10:52 pm #275934I am only 100 mikes in but really pleasantly surprised by the lack of brake dust- I snow foam the car and dirt comes off mostly with the pressure washer.
2024 Skoda Enyaq estate- 85x Sportline plus in Race Blue. Extras: Supernova 21 inch wheels, Maxx Pack, Transport Pack, Heat Pump and Pano Sunroof.
Ordered 31/10/23, Delivery 27/3/24April 21, 2024 at 10:29 am #275995Sadly we had a poor start to Enyaq ownership, car had errors day after collection.
Mainly 12v battery warning and electric drive error, car would not go into drive.
Managed to get car going after locking/unlocking, turning car off/on for maybe an hour as we were in middle of nowhere so would have struggled with recovery.Nearly one week later and same problem but car would not move regardless, had to be recovered with loads of errors now appearing and has been at service centre for 3 weeks awaiting parts which may take up to 8 weeks.
Motability have been great and very prompt providing temporary vehicle but Skoda have been useless with any updates (or lack of).
Hope other owners have more reliability than ours.April 21, 2024 at 11:56 am #276001Had mine 3 months and have a growing list of error messages etc.
Reading the Skoda Facebook groups the 85 series seems to be having a lot of these sorts of problems, especially brand new cars.Charge port cover not opening, had this from the first week when I went to look at it.
Dealers advice, let it get worse until it breaks then we’ll look at it!Had the “drive system not working correctly” several times, just switch it off, wait 10mins and try again.
Had a new one last week, cold and raining in Tesco’s car park, went to drive off and got a nice big red warning saying the electrical system was overheating!
› Stop driving! Stop the vehicle and switch off ignition.
› Do not top up with coolant!
› Seek the help of a specialist garage.Again turned off/on again after 10mins and it’d cleared.
Several other things that really shouldn’t be happening, terrible phone quality, over zealous emergency braking etc. etc., unless these are sorted out when this goes back in 2027 I certainly won’t be getting another one.
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
April 21, 2024 at 12:45 pm #276003Had my 85X Coupe on 15 April and had problems getting into ŠKODA Connect. Checked and apparently the problem was caused by a recent software update.
Everthing o.k now and was able to sign into Intelligent Octopus Go to get the best rate. What I am reading does not fill me with confidence. However it’s also a fact that I really enjoy driving the car and it does appear to be well built. Software problems have dogged the VW group vehicles so I hope they are on top of this and rectify the issues quickly.
