Hello fellow Skodians. I hought I would start this thread, as there seems to be quite a few either taken ownership, placed orders or just thinking about getting the best ev out there.
So, any questions that someone may be able to answer, any good or bad dealings with dealers, specs wanted or received, perhaps someone could help others in their quest

I have (stupid) question regarding Škoda connect. Are we getting this for free for all 3 years or we need to subscribe and pay £13?
I was thinking this too however I have just had a look at the brochure and it says it’s included as part of the remote services package. The remote services package and Skoda connect are listed as standard spec on the base model 60 so I believe it is included on all versions, at no extra cost.
Well today I collected my 85x sportline plus in race blue. The collection diddnt go too well. I was kept waiting for 2 hours as their system crashed. There were delays with getting it taxed and I now have to go back as they claim that the factory only sent one key??? I’ve never heard that before and suspect that they might have misplaced it.
all that said, I absolutely love the car and it really was worth the wait and all the angst as to whether Škoda were cancelling everyone’s order. The 75 mile drive home put it to the test and I’m very happy.

sorry to hear the experience was a bit pants but try and put that behind you- get many many happy miles under your belt.
the only thing you need to do is get it in writing that the key is missing and that they owe you. I have seen a similar story before and when the person went to get a replacement from the dealer, they said that they had no recollection of the collection when one key was given and insinuated that the customer had lost the key and that the dealer was not in the wrong. Get it in writing and resolved soon as you can and all will be fine.

Ordered 31/10/23, Delivery 27/3/24Fantastic, I’m sure you will and it looks so good, it’s a nice blue. Colours are such a tricky thing as they are so personal. I know folks have said that it’s not important to them but to me it is. I want to smile each time I go to get in and not think…….oh that will do.
My car will be at the dealership today or tomorrow with collection scheduled for next Wednesday! Nice news to get.

I’m sure i read somewhere that it comes on at night only but i see YouTube vids and some pictures around that show it lit up during daylight. Would be interesting to find out if someone that has the crystal grille could comment on it. Also does it just switch itself on like your normal headlights would or can you go into settings and maybe play about with the settings to say if it comes on at day and night or just night only

I’m off to the airport early tomorrow morning so it may be on, if not it should be on when I get back next Thursday so I’ll ask my ex to take a look (and accidentaly run over her!) 😀

Any chance those of you who just collected/are just about to could post some order dates? I have a May delivery estimate but unsure if thats 5 weeks away or closer to 10 and still putting away the pennies to cover the AP – 5 weeks will be tight, 9 will be a breeze lol

Whats folks thoughts on the AP of the Enyak Sportline Plus,do you think it will remain at £2099 or increase on the 1st April.
Exactly what we’re talking about just now. I think it is unlikely given the push for manufacturers to shift ev’s. I’m going in to order tomorrow morning to protect us from any rise next quarter and my dealer has already said he’ll let us know if the AP drops and sort it for us. That’s a win win for us because I think the advance on the Sportline Plus is quite reasonable at £2099.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it goes up given the waiting list for Enyaqs but equally now they seem to have put more capacity on the production line they might well keep it there.
Ordering right at the end of the quarter is the best way that way if it goes down you can make a deal to amend it later to save money. If it goes up or gets pulled then you’re safe too
Mine was ordered on the 10th of October and I collected it this week on Tuesday. I hope that helps? Once I was advised that it had left the factory, I was slightly quicker than I was expecting.
i ordered mine on 29/1 (coupe) and been told build week wc 16. Then two weeks after was pushed back to week 18. So instead may it will be June. Or as per Tuesday conversation with salesman even July. And I’m a bit pi*** off. I’m on enyaq group on Facebook and some people ordered after me and it’s been build and will get it in April. Like c’mon ??♀️

Ordered mine last November, quoted 16 weeks, current estimate 28 weeks, dealer says he has no control, all he can do is order a car and wait till it arrives.
Ordered an edition 60 race blue suite interior with no extras 4 weeks ago. Update from dealer this week is that its due to be built in the next week and on target for 10 week projection.
As I’ve previously mentioned I ordered on 10/12/23 and told 20+ weeks likely to wait. Was told by my dealer might get it in March as it had been built wk 05/02/24 but now told mid/late April and I think that is the most likely date.
Latest I’ve been told is that it’s at the port waiting to be shipped but I take much of what’s said with a pinch of salt. Not in any great hurry and am happy with the Kia Soul I currently have so just looking forward to when it eventually does arrive.
