Hello fellow Skodians. I hought I would start this thread, as there seems to be quite a few either taken ownership, placed orders or just thinking about getting the best ev out there.
So, any questions that someone may be able to answer, any good or bad dealings with dealers, specs wanted or received, perhaps someone could help others in their quest

Asked the dealer today if he would re order it so I could have the AP £100 less and he said no ? Is that correct ??
Thanks for the response
I won’t cancel the order over £100 ( it’s a meal out )
I was just curious.
Apparently they would cancle the order and I would go to the back of the que .
Iff the AP drops by £500 then £500 gets my attention.
Thanks
January 10, 2024 at 3:01 pm #254596I ordered a car this week and asked if the AP goes down on 1st April can I cancel/reorder to get the lower amount. I got a very flat no, that is not something they can do. It would have to be a significant reduction for me to cancel and start again elsewhere in fairness. (Note this was at Hyundai not Skoda but still relevant).
January 10, 2024 at 3:40 pm #254599My understanding is it’s not cancelling the order it’s resubmitting it like say you’d changed your mind about an option say. Well that’s how it was explained to me. Having said that mine was adjusted as it was £400 48 hours after I ordered as if the car had been pulled or gone up I was stuffed and I was right given all the silliness that’s gone on.
Tbh I probably wouldn’t bother over £100 either, nor would I if it it changed months down the line. Important to get the car you want in a timely fashion.
Also worth finding the better more Motability friendly dealers I’d certainly go to Group 1 in Norwich again.
January 10, 2024 at 6:04 pm #254608A Good friend of mine has just left the Skoda dealer after placing his order for the Enyaq 85 estate 4×4 Sportline Plus.
He was told that the car is coming off the scheme after today as Skoda have sold their allocation for the year already.
January 10, 2024 at 6:26 pm #254609I had a nose at the Skoda Enyaq site, I can’t believe on the high spec models like the Sportline plus front and rear heated seat over £2,000 extra and heat pump over £1,000 extra or have I read it wrong.
Unfortunately I have suffered a brain injury and occasionally say the wrong thing.
January 10, 2024 at 6:30 pm #254610I believe that heated front seats are standard but not rears.
Yeah, no heat pump as standard is a bit pants for the list price of the car as is the lack of HUD at this trim level, IMO.
January 10, 2024 at 6:59 pm #254611Front seat heating (and steering wheel heating) is standard, not rear seats. Sadly you can’t buy extras singly these days, they’re all in packs.
But the Enyaq’s standard spec has increased over the last year or so, so it’s good value. Certainly compared with the Audi Q4, which is based on the same platform (motors and battery).

That makes sense, I still can’t access any Enyaq car option on my Android phone. I can see all the other Skoda cars, just not the Enyaqs. I thought they might pull the plug on them for a while, glad I got my order in over Christmas. Even then they are giving the estimated delivery at the end of May. They must have a 6 month order book!

January 10, 2024 at 7:54 pm #254616This just seems crazy. I ordered mine on the 27th Dec and was told a May delivery. Why would Skoda then add it to the Q1 24 list with a reduced AP if they were close to capacity?
It’s such a mess. Thankfully my order is in, and we’ll see if they get removed tomorrow!

January 11, 2024 at 1:48 am #254631May delivery for 27th order? Seems a long time I was quoted April maybe sooner. What did you order mines an 85x Sportline plus in black.
Better be here by then as hire car gets taken back 2nd April that’ll leave me stranded 😮
January 11, 2024 at 7:45 am #254619For all you Enyaq owners (or soon to be Enyaq owners)…

January 11, 2024 at 9:39 am #254645I checked this morning and it appears gone again even though wmc has updated his thread and not mentioned it. And the mobility site is down.
I’ve had my heart set on this car but can’t order for another 4ish weeks.Today I’m going back to the drawing board and will look for something else. If it’s on then I’ll order if not I’m moving on as the kona is driving me around the bend now and I want it gone.
January 11, 2024 at 9:47 am #254646January 11, 2024 at 9:58 am #254651Cheers Mick. Just checked and I’m seeing it now. That site is an absolute shambles. Considering what a few posters have said I will still revise my list anyway as the on off hokey kokey is putting my head away.

Still showing 18 Enyak’s as available but, not allowing you to look at the different ones. This is the same with every manufacturer so Motability find a car is down in general!
If you have your heart set on the Enyak, speak with Motability and request an early termination. This will enable you to hopefully put an order in early and secure the Enyak. However by the time the car is delivered, you would have surpassed the contract with your Kona and no early termination would have taken place. ?
I remember @Rene doing something similar with his Golf!
January 11, 2024 at 10:33 am #254660All Enyaq’s showing on Motability now …. both Estates and Coupes.

Indeed that’s what we did, although we do have conflicting information about this now. We didn’t get penalised or anything, but we didn’t get a refund on the £50 early termination fee either.
I don’t care about the £50, but the lady i was talking to was incredibly rude/unfriendly/unhelpful and i got pretty steamy when she insisted that it was our fault for following the advice we were given by another CSA.
So, your mileage may vary. You could get a proper customer service agent that’s trying to help you as we did the first time around, or you could get a silly cow that’s trying to blame you for then doing as the other CSA said, there doesn’t seem to be a guideline/script to be followed for this thing. And she absolutely was a silly cow, arrogant and insisting that despite doing what they originally said (“well, it wasn’t an instruction, it was just an advice that he wasn’t authorised to give, so we’re not to blame”), it was actually our fault for doing something wrong. After getting proper angry (without being insulting) she eventually relented and offered to pay the £50, told her to keep it – it’s a principle thing, we didn’t do anything wrong so i’ll not let her suggest that we did. Properly unpleasant person that, after all the good experiences with MB customer service we were taking quite aback by that behaviour. Had a few choice four letter words for her after hanging up for sure.
I will add that we were only allowed this solution because my wife couldn’t sit in the original Ateca anymore, the seats being unsuitable.
Prior: SEAT Ateca Xcellence Lux 1.5 TSI DSG MY19, VW Golf GTE PHEV DSG MY23
Current: Hyundai Ioniq 6 Ultimate
Next: we'll see what's available in 2028.January 11, 2024 at 10:37 am #254663I think the Russians have hacked the Motability website its gone completely.
