Thanks Kezo, that may work as a one off, but I was looking for a site we could all just access and reference without the need to ask each time.

Many thanks. I think many of us who are looking for their next car would welcome something where you can enter the model of car and, hey presto, it tells you all the previous pricing! That’s way too easy though! Lol )

On a previous thread, there was talk of a £750 credit via the BMW Chargecard, something we believed was unavailable to motability customers – so I’m wondering if anyone who has collected their cars have been able to get this or have any specific feedback they can share?

Not sure what a ‘Selected Business customer’ is though…

@ Papillon….I know you were enquiring about this last week, so just pulled the information below from the BMW website. It states the offer is open to ‘retail’ customers – so if the offer is not open to us on Motability, I guess we are not classed as retail customers.

                    TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Find your BMW Electric with a complimentary home charger and standard installation or ÂŁ750 BMW public charging card credit *

                    2) Vehicles must be registered and delivered by 31 March 2024.

                    3) Subject to availability. Your BMW Retailer will be able to advise you on lead times for our all-electric vehicles.

                    4) The 7kW Universal Solo 3 Smart Home Charger will be supplied and installed by Pod Point (BMW is not the supplier of the Home Charger). 5) Home Charger installation can be arranged between the customer and Pod Point. Home Chargers must be installed by 31 March 2024.

                      Thanks for the feedback guys.

Sat in my car thinking of this earlier today I was convinced it was a great idea that could help some people. Not to worry, totally understand the issues, and happy I was able to express it to the forum.

Thanks to everyone who has responded.

The salesman did mention they were holding too much stock of electric vehicles that they haven’t sold, which was costing them xx thousand pounds per month, and didn’t want to be left with more if people ordered and cancelled.

Understandable I guess. The ÂŁ2,000 up front payment was required for any order other than stock cars, so applied to any factory orders or even the cars available at Tilbury docks, with a 2-3 week turnaround for collection.

To confirm, we didn’t order the car, and have arranged a visit to another dealer later this week.

The car is parked at mine Roger and has been since he started using motability about 7 years ago. I’m only 2 miles away and with ICE cars, it’s obviously never been an issue before, but as my dad wants to try an EV this time, we wanted to understand if a charger could be installed where the car stays overnight. Hope this makes sense.
