The Augmented Heads Up Display was one of the main reasons I upgraded to Maxx. On the Kona, you have to use the Hyundai in car navigation to benefit from HUD, I believe that this is not the case with the Skoda.
Most of our driving is motorway so I am looking forward to the faster charging speed vs the Kona.
Not long to go now.
Just had a phone call from the dealer who confirmed that my car was built last week ands is moving from the factory to the Cargo vessel this week.
Seems a lot lot quicker than I expected and he forecasts that I should be in it by the start of October.
Skoda Elroq 85 Sportline Maxx Pack
Interesting to see that the mpkwh are lower than I’m currently getting in my 72 plate Kona Ultimate, although it is worthy of note that the Elroq is probably a heavier car.
Hi Sigma – ordered my elroq 85 sportline maxx in timano green end of April – got it end of July – lovely car! At the moment I’m getting about 4 kWh which equates to about 325 miles. I’ve done just over 500 miles including motorway – the hot weather has definitely effected the range just as cold does – my driving style is back to normal ie I leave it in normal mode but also in B mode a/c on – I expect that will move upwards to 4.2 + when the hot weather has gone – my dealer was. very helpful and kept me informed about the stages – built at dock shipped arrived. I would be tempted to ring and ask them to keep you more informed 👍
Thanks Tillyman, sounds like I won’t be disappointed.
Just been told by the dealer that I have been allocated Build Week 36.
Hi Tillyman. Nice to see your name again as we were both bitten by the extraordinarily long wait for the Hyundai Kona EV in 2022.
Does anybody know what the current delivery forecast is? I placed my order for a Skoda Elroq Sportline 85 with Maxx pack on 21 June but have heard nothing from the dealer yet apart from they have extended my current made to end of October.
I have really enjoyed the Kona regularly getting 4.8 – 5.2 mpkw on the motorway and hope that the Skoda matches the efficiency of the Hyundai.

October 6, 2022 at 4:43 pm in reply to: The kona electric delivery time thread and general Kona EV discussion #197706Stupid question time: Does the Kona Ultimate brake for you if the car in front brakes and you don’t respond quickly enough? Sort of an Emergency Braking Assist.
Our previous car (Seat Ateca) did, but I can’t seem to find it in the manual and don’t have the minerals to brake late and see what happens.
August 10, 2022 at 8:17 pm in reply to: The kona electric delivery time thread and general Kona EV discussion #193497Hi Tillman – we can charge at home but our fixed rate tariff expired at the end of last month and we are now paying the standard Scottish Power rate which is 52p per unit.
Is a unit a Kw?

“Hi Marissa we have just got a update from Hyundai and then I went into dealership to make double sure . We got port arrival 28/08/22 . Gate out 18/08/22 delivery to dealership 23/09/22 . We ordered 4/01/22 kona electric ultimate. Get a update from Hyundai or your dealership as your dates seem a bit off “?
i couldn’t see a ship departing Ulsan 3 days ago on the Eukor website so they must be using a different shipping line.
