Even I can remember the excitement levels rising. It was a very short window for me of only around 4 weeks from ordering to taking delivery. It was already built and at the port of exit when I placed the order. It was quick as there were no packs or extras to add. Like Tillyman, I’m sure you will love the car when it arrives.
August 10, 2025 at 1:47 pm #311046Just got back from round trip to Wales and back – just on 260 miles.
A/C was on for me and my wife – set at 19 and fan on 2.
music on mostly motorway and ACC set to 70 mph.
We set out at 7:30 to pick someone up to bring back – traffic was light and no holdups on outward journey – – heavier traffic on return but still flowing quite freely – a couple of 50 mph sections on M4.Overall result for the 260 miles 4 kw.
I was impressed with that – hot day – driving normally in comfort at a good speed.
11% and 39 miles left in batteryGoing to Cornwall now 240 miles – much less planning – it means most times of the year I can drive normally knowing that there are still enough umph in battery to cope with traffic jams causing lower return etc
Elroq you Rock👍
August 10, 2025 at 7:29 pm #311075Nice journey! Just wondered…. Which battery do you have and did you charge to 80 or 100%?
August 10, 2025 at 7:43 pm #311076Always tend to charge to 100% for long journeys – sportline 85 maxx timano Green – lovely car – only slight change I would make is hard suspension – but it is sportline and I understand it beds in more after first 1000 miles – but I never pay for extras outside of scheme – so variable suspension for me not an option.

Have Dynamic Chassis Control on Enyaq, can’t say I have noticed any real difference between driving modes.
August 11, 2025 at 7:52 am #311089Just checked car – it has been charging using ohme app overnight – now 100% but surprisingly only 320 miles – I assume it is because I plugged it in about 1:30 yesterday afternoon for ohme to decide when and how much, but to be completely by 9am this morning – upto 26 yesterday so I assume it was to hot for max efficiency.
Not sure what the temperature range sweet spot is – no doubt someone will.August 11, 2025 at 9:28 pm #311124Hi,
It sets the miles based on your driving style since the last time you charged it. So 100% it estimates if you drive the same will get you 320 miles.
August 11, 2025 at 9:30 pm #311125The dealer has given me the VIN number and I’m sure that I read in the past that you could then use the Skoda app to track its journey from the port to the dealer.
But I can’t see a way in the app of doing this.
Anyone else any the wiser? Or is it a case of ringing up the dealer every week and saying “where is it now”? Pretty sure he’d get fed up of me!
August 11, 2025 at 9:49 pm #311126When I got my Kona it was delayed because of Covid – so a few of us that had ordered were playing the game of where and when – I downloaded a shipping app to help track car container ships – sad – but it was Covid so any distraction helped – I didn’t bother this time – the dealer was good at keeping me informed of the numbered stages ie built – ready to ship – shipped – in uk etc once in uk usually within two weeks ready for collection – so I totally get the excitement and wanting to know 😂 – I tried to pretend to be cool this time – but inwardly – still a big kid – secretly I’m glad I am 😂😁👍
August 13, 2025 at 6:45 pm #311209Hooray!!!!!
Just been informed my car is at the docks awaiting a ship to the UK
85 sportline Maxx/winter/driver packs 😁🏎️🏎️🏎️
Awaiting my first motability vehicle, Skoda Elroq spotline 85 Maxx
August 13, 2025 at 8:04 pm #311214Nice, perhaps we’ll be boat buddies!
Also I thought I was the only person to have ever ordered the driver pack, haha! (After the debacle of whether it was actually available to order in the UK)!!!
Similar spec to mine, but you’ve gone for the winter pack too. Very nice!
(Apologies if my reply posts twice – weird website error when I pressed submit).

I tried this when I ordered my Enyaq, got the VIN from the dealer but you can’t use it in the app if you are in the UK, another Brexit bonus it seems. Pretty sure this works fine for European customers.
Just have to keep asking the dealer, their systems seem to have a pretty good idea where the car is at a given time.

I didn’t go for driver pack originally, but then thought I’d only spend the next few years regretting it, so I went back and added it!!
Glad to know you also thought it was worth having 👍😁

August 15, 2025 at 8:31 am #311319Hi Tillyman. Nice to see your name again as we were both bitten by the extraordinarily long wait for the Hyundai Kona EV in 2022.
Does anybody know what the current delivery forecast is? I placed my order for a Skoda Elroq Sportline 85 with Maxx pack on 21 June but have heard nothing from the dealer yet apart from they have extended my current made to end of October.
I have really enjoyed the Kona regularly getting 4.8 – 5.2 mpkw on the motorway and hope that the Skoda matches the efficiency of the Hyundai.

August 15, 2025 at 9:09 am #311322Hi Sigma – ordered my elroq 85 sportline maxx in timano green end of April – got it end of July – lovely car!
At the moment I’m getting about 4 kWh which equates to about 325 miles.
I’ve done just over 500 miles including motorway – the hot weather has definitely effected the range just as cold does – my driving style is back to normal ie I leave it in normal mode but also in B mode a/c on – I expect that will move upwards to 4.2 + when the hot weather has gone – my dealer was. very helpful and kept me informed about the stages – built at dock shipped arrived.
I would be tempted to ring and ask them to keep you more informed 👍August 15, 2025 at 3:00 pm #311343Hi Sigma – ordered my elroq 85 sportline maxx in timano green end of April – got it end of July – lovely car! Thanks Tillyman, sounds like I won’t be disappointed.
Just been told by the dealer that I have been allocated Build Week 36.
August 15, 2025 at 3:26 pm #311345My build week was 23 ie beginning of June – got the car at the end of July – so in my case – 2 months from build.
Really pleased with car – but do be aware the sports suspension is hard compared with the Kona 👍August 16, 2025 at 10:45 am #311374Update – On two occasions now I have put car in B mode – my preferred drive – and although the light is clearly saying it is in B mode – it isn’t – no braking noticeable.
When I stopped to drop of my passengers – I reversed slightly to move off again and it appeared to fix it – the first time I just thought it must be me, not used to the car – now not so sure – anyone else experienced this?August 17, 2025 at 1:17 pm #311410B mode dose not want to work if ACC is left on – so down to me – but problem solved.
Just back from 250 mile round trip.
Car averaged 3.8 – ACC on – a/c on set to 19c – music on.
Mostly down the M4 from Surrey to Newport – ACC on 70 which was achieved for the majority of the journey.
There are issues with the ACC – on two occasions on the m4 it decided to reduce my speed to 50 – I was quite quick on the acceleration so not a problem, but a bit weird if you are not expecting it.August 18, 2025 at 4:22 pm #311500Interesting regarding the ‘B’ mode. I’ve really only used it when going down enormous hills and on my old car, I would pop it into B when I was in and around a town. I’ll pop it into B when I’m next out and keep an eye out to see what happens. Mine is very good at reducing the speed when approaching corners or junctions but on long stretches of roadworks it slows down but is not always so quick to accelerate when they are over. Having said that, my friend has the Enyaq and his is a little erratic with the speed adjustment.
August 19, 2025 at 8:42 am #311547Just back from 10 mile urban journey to drop someone off – thought I would try eco mode – traffic reasonably heavy, so stop and go – top speed 40 mph – a/c on – return of 4.5 kWh.
Quite impressed by that – there does appear to be a definite step up from normal mode.August 20, 2025 at 3:04 pm #311634Had Elroq 3 weeks today .
pic – is today’s journey I have just got back from 50% A3 70 mph – 50% country and urban, a/c on Eco mode
August 20, 2025 at 3:05 pm #311635This picture is mixed discovery learning – various modes – mostly a/c on
August 20, 2025 at 4:11 pm #311638Interesting to see that the mpkwh are lower than I’m currently getting in my 72 plate Kona Ultimate, although it is worthy of note that the Elroq is probably a heavier car.
