All went to plan with collection today. Given 1/2 tank of petrol and an apology and I did get the £750 seat upgrade removed.

Spent time showing me the features but I keep calling her Alexa instead of Google!

Think my branch has 40 motability orders and only 3 had arrived. Mine was the first order on 4th December. UncJ would have been second I think. He did say now they can be ordered from stock so maybe thats why some much newer orders have been arriving and overtaking our Dec/Jan orders. Not fare

Really hope Volvo up their game it wasn’t a pleasant ride.
Going to the Garden Center for a treat and no more taxis!! 🎉🎉🎉

Mine was reportedly manufactured on the 18th June and delivered 28th June. They’ve rung today for collection on Friday 5th so 2 1/2 weeks maybe to Gloucester. Seems quite quick.

Well well well I’ve had the call. 😍 I’m collecting my car this Friday am! Relief no more taxis!! Only 7 1/2 months (advised 3)
Will I need plastic mats?
Better start writing a list of questions too! What do I need to know? I’ve picked up it might break unexpectedly and the speed limit buzzer will be annoying so need turning off so far!
Good luck everyone still waiting, it was quick from manufacture to delivery as 2 1/2 weeks. The only think I can think of that Volvo has done competently! Karen & her daughter’s car! 🚙

Hi Ellyr5 I signed  up to a few weeks ago but couldn’t do anything. Yesterday with the VIN number it took me to trying to search for the car with Bluetooth but that was it, as I needed the car! It did show me the right colour car though!

Great to hear your car is nearly here!
I’ve asked today and received a screen shot of info!! Looks like build moved to 18th from the 14th 🤷‍♀️ but delivery could be 28th June instead 9th July and it says ‘arrived importer’ so I presume that’s Bristol dock maybe! Also has the VIN number so I logged onto the Volvo app.
Hoping to be getting closer here too and the other good news is the upgraded seat cost of £750 has been dropped as now standard feature 🤩 So very pleased at that!
Waiting  for a phonecall now!!

UncJ – Sorry to hear your health has suffered through this whole experience buying and selling. All stress you don’t need.

So glad you are loving your car 😍 I’ve seen loads in Cheltenham on my long walks with no car and all the taxi are Mercedes 😂 too!
I’ve heard nothing after my car was supposedly having a build date. It better had or I’ve still time to go to another dealer 🤔

Just got back! Test drove the Mercedes CLA 200 coupe this morning. To all those still waiting for their Volvo to come through I hope they come ASAP for you as it’s been a rough ride for so many of us. 🙏

Ive just looked at the GLA, test drive booked. the only thing niggling me is engine size.. not as though I whizz up and down motorways but I’ll see how it feels, why don’t you book a test drive? No harm, see how it feels x
