It is particularly ideal to switch on preheating when charging the car; on the ENYAQ iV, this can be activated both in the on-board system and from your mobile phone using the MyŠKODA app. Simply set a departure time and the car’s interior and the battery itself will be heated to the ideal temperature in readiness

I can 100% confirm our car has now docked in the UK, we are hoping for a quick turn around to the dealer but the average is around 2 weeks. Our car is a 85x estate originally ordered on 28/12 and reorder with a change of colour on the 3/1/24.

I will post pictures and thoughts on car to here

It’s like going outside your home and putting £500 down the drain no one is going to do that. Don’t fear having to wait, we were fully prepared to wait longer but our build date ect did not change after the order was resubmitted everything stayed the same we just save a major wedge of money ? ?

It takes a dealership less than ten minutes to resubmit an order if you have an online Motability account. When the car I had ordered on Feb 23rd had it’s advanced payment reduced by £2000 on April 1st, I telephoned the dealership and insisted that the Motability specialist resubmitted my order immediately. I stayed on the phone while he went through the process and after a few minutes he said the resubmit was complete, I then asked him to hold on while I checked my online account. It had quickly been amended to the new AP. Be assertive and positive and it should get results.

Yeah tried that and they’ve been told by Motability Operations not to reduce the AP for anyone unless the order is cancelled and placed again. Think we’ll probably end up cancelling and placing the order again, just don’t fancy waiting another 30 weeks.

Just wait till the car has been delivered to dealership and cancel the order at that point as you have requested a optional extra the not gonna give that car to another person lol then resubmit your order I don’t know why your dealship are been total tits it takes them 2 minutes to do regardless of what motabilitoy say it’s your money

                    1. Hi all ordered our Enyaq 85 Estate Race Blue with Transport Pack on Nov 25th 2023 just confirmed build date of week 21. Only getting the price from Jan 2024 and the dealer won’t move on it either as Motability have told them not to reduce the price any further under any circumstance. Even an email to the CEO of Motability proved unsuccessful and they still refused to budge so now involved the Financial Ombudsman Service as it was reduced in January then why not now??

Ours has been reduced 2 times we simply told the dealer to cancel the original order and resubmit it so we can get the lower ap. 10 minutes after the call we received email and logged into our online account and the new price was showing. I would just cancel the full order no need to contact the ombudsman as your original order was at agreed price will not change anything. Your order simply needs cancelling and you then just resubmit it. We saved £100 I think it was on January price and then was another £500 off from the last drop in AP. Till the vehicle is delivered and you input your pin at the dealership the contract is not legally signed so you can cancel at anytime as we have done twice. Also it did not affect our build date

Our car is the 85x sportsline plus ordered 28th December build week 13 and expecting delivery anytime soon. Last update it was at the port in Germany waiting.

Spoke to my dealership yesterday and initially they said they didn’t believe it was possible to get the lower price as I had already had it adjusted in January from December’s price. Fortunately, she put me on hold and came back several minutes later confirming she resubmitted my order for the new lower AP. I ordered a standard 85x sportline plus with no extras. Should hopefully have it in the next 3 weeks!

Our car is at the port in Germany waiting I’m assuming yours may be 2. Ours is bound for the port of Tyne. Maybe we get our cars the same day lol we also have the 85x

Well after threatening my dealer with cancellation I finally got a reply today. New order form showing the lower AP and an estimated delivery date of 30th June.

Very nice sometimes you have to play hardball, our dealer has been very helpful and adjusted the AP without question. We simply phoned him and asked to cancel the order and resubmit it so we could get the lower AP and he was like no problem. Under no circumstances would we have paid the higher AP we would have sat in the dealership on collection day refusing to put our pin in if that was the case lol ?

I’m getting the impression that Skoda dealers aren’t very good. Never had these problems with BMW.

I think it just depends on who the have working at the dealership. The smaller/independent dealers round my area have always been good regardless of what brand.

True to my word i have placed an order today for the Sportline 85x estate/suv,in Brilliant Silver and no extra’s. We’ll see what happens on Monday/Tuesday with the new Q2 prices do they go up or down,Mmmmm. I do like the Coupe 85x i sat in one at the dealers yesterday, but the no rear wiper puts me off and the extra £500 AP I might ask what is the most popular version is it the Estate or Coupe amongst the forum members.

We went for the estate only because we have a young family and need to fit a large pram along with anything else and thought the estate will be much more practical boot space. We also agree the coupe is better looking but I would guess more people go for the estate over the coupé. Also don’t let the absence of a rear wiper put you off the coupe. I drove a large coupe with no rear wiper for years and the rain just flows off because of the angle of the glass and was never a problem with rear vision or dirt ect. Estate shaped rear ends and glass do get dirty but coupes not so

Finally heard back from my dealer today after yet more phone calls. He’s now said that he has an unconfirmed build date of the end of June rather than him saying a delivery date of the middle of June when I ordered. Unfortunately, it looks like I’m going to have to run with that as it looks like nothing of interest is going to get added on Tuesday.

The new ford explorer may be added on Tuesday which is based on the VW enyaq platform, only thing is if that happened you still be looking at a 24 week lead time like most cars

I collected the car today. It’s like driving a spaceship!! It will take me some time to learn the ropes coming out of a 2008 VW! Beautiful car to drive.

Wow sounds amazing really looking forward to our car coming. If you don’t mind me asking how much was your total AP with all them extras. I wanted the pan roof and the wheels but the wife would not allow it ?

Just over 8k with AP. It’s my first car on motability and first new car since 2009 – had a rough year last year and needed something to focus on that brought me out of that period. I know there will be people asking why I have wasted money on extras when its not my car but the way I see it is that it is my car for 3 years and I want to enjoy all of it.

I totally agree and if was just up to me I would have done the same 100%,  I bet the car looks amazing and I hope you fully enjoy it

Just had an email from my dealership advising that my Enyaq Coupe build date has been moved back from week 16 to week 23 (W/C 3rd June). They say it could be moved either way before then! So that’s a 7 week delay as it stands!

Wow that’s very unfortunate, our car is ment to be getting built this week 13. I’m now worried ?

We ordered our 85x Sportline Plus Estate on the 3rd of January in Arctic Silver, The next day the dealership rang and said he found a canceled order that was booked in to be built week 13 in Graphite Grey. Of cause we took him up on the offer to change the colour.

I’m sure we got someone else’s order who may have cancelled to save the £200 ? drop in AP.

We not complaining ? car should be ready to collect early April
