12th of may for me that’s the date the order window opens so April the first is without doubt of great interest price wise I have been to a few showrooms if only to see what’s on offer at the moment and so far a little underwhelming if I’m honest but I’ll find something no doubt
My order window opens mid may so I’m just starting to,more than anything rule certain cars out and making a mental note of which cars I want a test drive in in the next couple of months or so.

January 22, 2026 at 10:32 am in reply to: if the DWP end your mobility element but the 3 year lease hasn’t ended….. #334131If your pip review is in February you will be lucky to have the results before the car goes back. They are taking a very long time to look at the reviews. If they do say no appeal it, which will give another few months. I know someone that waited 13 months on their review.
i had my dreaded review form back end of October to be back by mid November had the result 2 of jan much faster now it seems
It seems to be open season on th sick and that Motability ceo gets paid so much is perverse
People are very jealous it seems to me indeed and I’m going back 6 years now a Toyota saleesman told me that I’d have a much better car than him on the scheme and he added just for effect ” and I’m working”.
i told him to shove it up his backside and never went near
The reduction in miles I can’t really see as an issue 20k was an awful lot in my option but it’s the stuff not yet announced because now they’ve started they’re not going to stop are they?
for instance the insurance excess will doubtless go up in due course I suspect by the end of the decade the scheme will be unrecognisable
At some point, whoever holds the red box they where going to come after EV so this wasn’t a surprise
Well I never thought I’d see this from a labour government it’s almost perverse the way they’ve demonised the sick and the disabled they simply should be ashamed of themselves but I suspect Farage and his merry band of Tory failures would be worsen under bam pot.
the vat on AP will I suspect be a deal breaker for many of us they simply should hang their heads in shame as for the removal of so called luxury cars they simply should have been on the scheme full stop as it always have the daily mail caveman something to aim at,Motability should have read the post Covid room and took them off and once the hysteria settled down now they’re gone for good.
a sad sorry day for many of us
