They are talking utter cr@p Motability have no say in it. If the AP drops before you collect the car all the dealer has to do is cancel the Motability order (not the factory order for the car) and then resubmit it. Takes 5 minutes, doesn’t cost the dealer anything, they don’t lose any money. All that changes is the amount you pay to Motability via the dealer when you collect the car.
I know ! But unfortunately looks like I made a mistake and order enyaq with wrong dealer:( so yeah for future reference be careful on wings of Škoda Peterborough.
I already ordered this and paid 🙁 I’m new in scheme. Been awarded high rate for a first time as my condition went worse. My dealer said they can’t do anything if AP will go lower as they once asked notability and been told that they have sick with the price which was on time when ordering.
Different dealers have different rules but I’ve never paid an ap or deposit upfront, mostly because I’ve never been asked to buy if I had I would go elsewhere if and it’s pretty unlikely you paid a dealership say the full ap in advance and before delivery they ceased trading you could be right up the creek (unless paid via credit card with min of £100). My dealer didn’t ask for a penny of the £2499 upfront and they later did reduce it to £2099 without me even asking and the order date didn’t change.
they said they will take this £500 off my final AP payment and the reason for this is if I will decide to cancel my order they would have to pay this fine and now if I decide to cancel I will not get this £500 back. And I also asked if the AP will go down by the time I will have to collect if they will change it but they said no. ?
Ok. Ive ordered my Enyaq coupe ? it was hard decision! I could not sleep today as I could not decide which enyaq should I choose ! I tested both estate and coupe. One in sportline other in lounge. And I must say sportline seats were not comfortable for myself. So I went with ecosuite. Estimated delivery today was 15/04 but this might change both ways. Will see 😉 not sure about other dealers but I had to pay £500 deposit today which it took me by surprise as I’m I thought I will pay AP on the day when I will collect the car.
My dealer immediately offered an Enyaq to me for a whole working day, picked car up at 10am kept it until 5pm. This was important to me as we live in a rural location so driving on inner city roads is worthless to me. I need to know how a car is on C roads full of potholes etc. The next nearest dealer only offered me 20 minutes with them in the car so YMMV. I know Wings were offering 48 hour test drives at one point so it is well worth asking
thank you for pointing this out. I’ve checked on their website and yes they offer 48h test drive for enyaq. I’ve sent an email to my dealer and asked about it and if we can arrange this. According to their website this is available only between Monday- Friday. So fingers crossed he will respond tomorrow!
I was just wondering- is it possible to have a car for let’s say 24h test drive so we could check evening drive etc ? We hade now 2h appointment but I was wondering is next time I would be able to have a car for a longer to check it properly including evening drive.
You can ask but with the shortage of stock, majority of dealerships are very reluctant to let them go for longer than a few hours. If you’ve already had a 2 hour test drive, they may be willing to let you take it for longer to seal the deal but I wouldn’t expect so.
I will have to ask as my dealer has 3 or 4 of them atm. We could easily choose if we want to drive estate or coupe. So hopefully as they have more than one in stock and for test drive they will let us have it for few hours

Something to be aware if, on Facebook Enyaq forum, a private order, guy went in to order a Sportline 85x and was told order books for that car were closed currently, as too many orders have pushed leas tines well back. IF this is correct, then it may be removed from the scheme very soon.

just been today at Škoda wings Peterborough and I’ve been told that waiting time for estate version is 28 weeks and for coupe 20 weeks.
I had drive test today and wow. Love it ! Nowy we need to make a decision which model we will go with … that’s not gonna be easy I must admit ?As Kezo says, as soon as you place an order for an EV, you are contacted within a handful of days by Ohme, who have a link with a form to fill in. Its as simple as that. If you are unable to fill in the form, they will send an engineer out to carry out the survey. It is nothing to get stressed about, uncertainty is a worry. IF your property is NOT suitable for a chargepoint, you can cancel your order for an EV. But the installation of the chargepoint will more than likely go ahead without any problems at all. A few do have problems very many do not If you go ahead and order your EV, it should all be seamless. Its not a thing to worry about.
thanks you so much ! I know my charger point will been non standard installation as it’s about 25m from fuse box to my parking space which is allocated behind my house and garden. I don’t have a wall there just a fence but hopefully the costs won’t be to high.
They will take the supply from your meterbox/cupboard.
which is on exactly same wall just outside. I have it next to my front door unfortunately so it is a few meters away from my parking space.

I have bazaar question- can you have this brown leather interior (like on exosuite version) when you choose sportline? I love the interior colour for ecosuite however sportline has better specifications and if I would like to add same things on eco version it would costs me a lot. Any idea if this is possible?
I would like to have a new one – not old. So I will have to speak with dealer 🙂 thank you for respond.
