It does say online if you are not in receipt of DLA or PIP you can still get a blue badge, but you will need a letter from your doctor to explain why you need the badge. That is in N.Ireland it may be different in England, Wales and Scotland.

It seems none of the Peugeot range can have heated seats. Yet a lot of the other manufacturers can include heated seats in their cars.

I wanted to make it clear that Motability and getting a new car on Contract hire that unlike other car finance or Contract hire or Lease Motability does not do any Credit Checks’ and the only thing that is the order of the day is that you have the higher rate DLA or PIP award for 3 years so to be honest it is a great Scheme for Disabled.

you only need to have the award for 12 months to qualify for a car. Many people were able to get a mortgage to buy a house years ago because they had a DLA award for life or indefinitely. The lender at the time knew they were going to get the loan paid back because of the lifetime award.

Belfast can I ask what you mean 750 and 250?

£750 new car payment from motability if you order a car in 2023 and the rest of the good condition bonus that is owed. I got £350 and have another £250 to get from them. That makes up the £1000.00

You can have a boot strap installed for £60, we have one. It hangs down about 18 inches, it means shorter people can reach.

it was the weight of the tailgate that was the problem. Maybe because the car we looked at was brand new, but I could reach it ok but couldn’t pull it down.

Ordered a Tiguan R-Line Edition yesterday. Metallic grey with electric tailgate, area view with rear camera and heated rear seats. Extras came to £1425 dealer took £100 of that. With the £750 plus the £250 that leaves £325 to pay for the extras. Was told VW are saying 33 weeks for delivery.

I went yesterday with my son to have a look at a Tiguan R-Line Edition, I could not pull the tailgate down it was that heavy even my son who is 6ft tall and well built had difficulty with the weight of it. I ordered one but paid the extra to get the electric tailgate. I was given a time of 33 weeks for delivery.
