Just keep the car in drive apply handbrake and it will automatically come off when you drive off. This is exactly what happens when you have auto hold.
The speed limit problem is not confined to Peugeot, VW do it as well and probably others. The boot opening with your foot. You need to do it and step back it will not open if it thinks it is going to hit something.
car has hill start rather than auto hold just get used to applying the handbrake each time, it automatically comes off when you press the accelerator.
I would let them keep sending you increased fines, let them waste all their money, issue you with a summons and then just say nothing to do with me here’s the proof. Let them waste all their resources all their time and money. This happens every day because motability are not informing the DVLA that they have sold the cars.

So this motability customer has to do all the running because motability did not inform DVLA that they had sold the car. This happens every day in life with motability they just don’t do a simple job on a computer to tell someone that the car is no longer there’s. And if he contacted DVLA a couple of days later you can be assured it will be out of his name then ok.

I have a VW Tiguan and know this is true of the Golf and, assume the same for all VAG cars. In the Tiguan the 12V sockets turn off with the car by default but its a simple fuse configuration to change this so there live all the time. Just means removing the fuse from one slot to another and an Internet search will find what fuse holder and slot it is.
it is fuse number 40 to make it constantly live move it up to beside 39 and 41. But it still goes off with the stop start which is a nuisance.
Am I allowed to have my dashcam hard wired. The reason I ask is I have just collected a new Skoda Karoq and all the 12v sockets remain live even with the ignition off and I am concerned that I may end up with a flat battery if I forget to unplug the dashcam, not to mention the unsightly trailing wiring.
the easiest way to hardwire a dash cam is with an OBD power supply. It plugs into the OBD port of the car and gives you the power to run the dash cam without any problems.

Belfast4 for around 13k over three years I get some nice memories and a set of keys. Mobility make a fortune out of us so I’m not worried about them. The dealer who sells the car gets a new set cut for around £100 and still makes a very nice profit, and new private customer gets a well looked after second hand car with two sets of keys.
£100 who cuts and programmes new keys for £100. If they were charging you £350+vat for a new key would you keep one?
I’ve handed back 3 cars with only one set of keys and never had a problem. I keep the other set as a souvenir lol
And the person that buys it after you what about them, very hard to sell anyone a car that has only one key. Motability must be the only lease company that does not charge for lost keys at end of lease.
I use TomTom via Apple CarPlay and first and current year expires next month and had an email from Apple last week to remind me to cancel now if I don’t want the subscription to continue but at £19-99 I’m finding it well worth it. Unlike my VW inbuilt car satnav it announces safety and red light cameras even when its not navigating, that for me is 90% of the time and can make these announcements even while using other car systems within the infotainment unit. The real big like for myself is seeing traffic hold ups clearly on the map, at a glance, miles ahead of me giving loads of time to avoid. One and I think only bugbear is it does not allow you to go to a point on the map and touch that point and make that your destinations, something that my inbuilt VW satnav does without using names or postcodes, but again, I can use the VW map in those instances and navigation while TomTom gives me the warning over the car audio of any safety cameras ahead without using the TomTom navigation. I could be wrong but I don’t think there would be an option for a free year via CarPlay.

that car was a facelift this is a new model.
I don’t think the new model Mk3 Tiguan is selling as well as VW hoped it would, the change to a steering wheel column gear selector is putting people off, plus the price for extra stuff is very expensive. Maybe this is why it has been put on to the scheme so quickly after its release.

I also have this on my Tiguan, it is very good I use it all the time not only will it park in a space you thought the car would not fit, it will also get you out of the same space. It can also reverse into a parking space in a car park perfectly between the lines. See a space indicator on left or right, press the button, into reverse and the car parks itself. Once you have used it a couple of times it is very simple to use.
The mobility part of the pip award is used for the car, the care component does not come into it.
You find a car with a deposit you can afford to pay and the mobility part of the pip goes to motability. Most of the cars say TA beside them which means total allowance. Their are some cars that are slightly cheaper than the TA.
For the £303 every 4 weeks you get a car which is insured, taxed, serviced, new tyres when needed you just add the fuel.
Just noticed they have 2 kodiaqs on the link you provided, the bottom one says the smaller screen and the one further up the page says the bigger one. I can only assume you have got the kodiaq from the bottom of the page.
It actually says in key features that it comes with the Amundsen 8 inch screen. That’s from the link you provided.

A friend ordered a grandland 13/12/23 told 4 months maximum be here around 16th 17th march. Has now been told it will be here in April, now changed to May then confirmed date of 15th June and yesterday told won’t be here until the end of July. If it arrives that will be 8 months, it still says on their website 4 months delivery time. They are a joke.
In N.Ireland cost of a charger installation range from £800 to £1300 I would phone round and get prices from installers.
I went with someone when they ordered a grandland diesel 13th December 23 was told 4 months, delivery in April. She phoned start of April they told her sorry 17th May now phoned again today now told 17th June. It is becoming a joke, I am just wondering have they had her car in and retailed it.
You do know that the speed camera vans also use Waze, and as soon as the alert comes up on their phones they just hit not there.
