Ive noticed a problem with the original thread, taking me to page 1 of the thread. Assuming its the same problem as my original Brexit thread (stolen by WMC lol) that there were too many pages, i have started another weather thread (stolen from lightbodyae55 lol).

@ajn I wish my legs looked like that! I’d put a photo up but it’s before the 9pm watershed!!
Slightly OT, day out to Whitby with the Ex-Wife today, good run down, 18c and a bit of drizzle to start, cleared up past Middlesbrough though. About 20c when we got to the Park & Ride, quick 10min bus ride into Whitby and as expected it was the right choice, by 11am parking looked like a complete non-starter!.
Had a look round the harbour then off to Trenchers for fish & chips, very nice indeed, cod & chips, large sausage & chips and a bottle of dandelion and burdock was £22, not too bad.
Started getting a bit too hot around 3ish so we decided to call it a day, I was knackered anyway trying to walk round the place, it’s not known for being very flat!.
Slow drive back home via a tea van at Scaling Dam, we used to go there about 25 years ago when we used to go to Haven caravans at Scarborough, Filey etc. with the kids. Dropped off the Ex and picked up my daughter (she’s back at mine yet again, keeps stealing my PC to play her current game, Baldurs Gate) so home about 5.
One thing that impressed me was the Enyaq, said 310 at 100% charge this morning, usually I’m lucky to get 285 out of that in the real world, about 3.5 miles per kWh. Todays long run improved that to 4.0 – 4.1 so with a round trip of about 140 miles my guess-o-meter thinks I still have another 185 left, so 325, first time it’s ever been over 290.

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
July 13, 2025 at 6:59 pm #309519Yes @Tharg rapid drop in temps tomorrow or so they say, which suits me except for the rain.
Still doing 25c
July 13, 2025 at 7:52 pm #309522@Phaedra I must say those slightly now skinny & weak legs have seen quite a bit of action throughout my time, however they’ve got me through life..
So for that I guess they deserve a little praise so Thanks I’ll take it 😂🤣
July 14, 2025 at 12:35 am #309534Bit disappointing here today, forecast for full sun 🌞 and 25*C but we had mostly overcast with a stiff breeze and 21*C. I went for a walk later on in shorts and tee shirt and wished I had brought a jacket by the time I’d finished 😞

Anything i post over three lines long please assume it is an article lol.July 14, 2025 at 9:09 am #309544Forecast is 21C; currently 23C. Reckon it’ll max at 25ish. Cloudy with some sunshine and a slim chance of rain. Wind is gusting to 35/40mph and making it feel cooler than it actually is. Tomorrow’s rain-carrying low-pressure zone has gone a bit north so it’ll not be solid chucking-it-down all day; just a slight chance of a heavy shower.
July 14, 2025 at 9:22 am #309546Cooler 17c with mild breeze.
July 14, 2025 at 10:53 am #309554Quite cloudy, still warm, seems like could rain..
July 14, 2025 at 2:19 pm #309565Good to see the BBC weather is as accurate as ever, 87% chance of rain and thunderstorms!
Meanwhile here in the real world it’s about 23c, sunny and dry!!

The BBC changed supplier for it’s weather forecast from the governments Met Office to MeteoGroup (Netherlands) and shown as city temperatures on Euro news.
July 15, 2025 at 9:01 am #30958821C at the moment. Forecast is 22C max. Reckon it’ll make 25ish. Much cloud; little sun. It’s already rained a wee bit. There will be more. Worst thing is the wind which is hitting 45+ mph making it feel much cooler than it is and threatening our window boxes and baskets. None fallen off yet but the flowers are being dried out so even if it is chucking it down I’ll have to water ’em.
July 15, 2025 at 10:58 am #309596Rain 15*C, summer over?

July 17, 2025 at 12:42 pm #309749Mostly rain 20c
July 17, 2025 at 3:28 pm #309772Dentist this morning then lunch and shopping with my son before taking him back home. Just got out of Durham in time as they’re closing a lot of it down for the Durham Run later this afternoon.
A surprisingly warm 24c most of today, dropping to 16c tonight then 20-23c and rain/thuderstorms forecast for the next 3 days or so.

July 18, 2025 at 6:08 am #309793Deeply grey. 17C in garden. Forecast to brighten a bit and head for 23C.
July 18, 2025 at 10:18 am #309797The weather doesn’t know what to do today. Bright sunshine one minute heavy showers the next. A very pleasant 19 °C with no wind.
Forecast for thunderstorms later😔😔

July 19, 2025 at 9:10 am #309834Chucked it down most of the night. Now doing 18C and still delivering the wet stuff. Although now as showers rather than the night’s wall-to-wall downpours. Supposed to stop between 11am and 1pm but the thunderstorm warning stays in place. Hope for at least some dry bits as the baskets and boxes have taken a battering and will need some serious dead-heading.
July 19, 2025 at 11:09 am #309837Dry here but forecast of thunder and heavy rain. A pleasant temperature of 18 °C just now so can’t complain.

Anything i post over three lines long please assume it is an article lol.July 20, 2025 at 9:17 am #30986818C, supposed to be heading towards 23C. Well windy (28mph gusts). Much cloud; some chance of sun p.m. Ten percent chance of rain but I’ll have to fit in watering for the baskets and boxes because they’re so loaded with flowers that ordinary Mk 1 rain just runs off the edges. Moreover, they need a proper feed.
July 20, 2025 at 10:51 am #309872Heavy rain on and off 18c.
July 20, 2025 at 2:17 pm #309889Forecast for really heavy rain with thunder and lightning but as of now not a drop of rain, 21 °C with sunny spells. Just been for a walk to the shops and I’m sweating buckets, not a good look 😂
