Ive noticed a problem with the original thread, taking me to page 1 of the thread. Assuming its the same problem as my original Brexit thread (stolen by WMC lol) that there were too many pages, i have started another weather thread (stolen from lightbodyae55 lol).
The only person who got all his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe.
Anything i post over three lines long please assume it is an article lol.

, it’s all going on the washing line, saves .We bought a heat pump dryer a few years back. In fairness to it it’s cheap enough to run all year if we wanted.

We’re thinking of getting a heat pump dryer when the current one breaks, but it’s pretty bulletproof, we’ve had it 10 years and it’s still going strong. I may just buy one and sell the current model. I think the indesit one we have costs about £1 to use, in the winter we use it 4 times a week so a heat pump should pay for itself quite quickly.

well its bleak,cold,wet and miserable here today so dark had to put lights on.

Yeah @mitch the very same weather here. Just this moment, Load clap of thunder over head and very close lightening. The rain was just straight down and bouncing off the road.

Previous car:Peugeot 308 GT Premium 1.2 Pure tech Petrol.We had a very heavy downpour for 10 minutes earlier but it’s that warm the pavement was dry after 15 minutes. Temperature touched 20 c when I was in the car.

Same here Joss, I reckon there is a direct correlation between me putting the clothes out and the rain falling!
There isn’t a breathe of wind here. I’ve just come in off the roof terrace after a couple of hours enjoying an incredible view with a glass of something relaxing. Our chickens have stopped clucking way down below us, the dogs have stopped racing around playing tag with each other, Our lop eared rabbit has joined the Quail in the greenhouse for a good nights sleep, and we’ve just talked our Maine Coon down off the pitch of our three story roof (phew!). The birds and our three garden squirrels are settling down for the night in their one hundred year old trees, and now that the sun’s gone down I can see car headlights twinkling in Winchcombe which is about 18 miles away.
My daughter has made sandwiches and nibbles and lit a log fire and we’re relocating to the lounge for a karaoke session …. It’s Coronation bank holiday weekend and all is right with our own particular world here in the Malvern Hills …. Life is good.

Sadly not keso, they’re grey squirrels but are the most entertaining acrobatic creatures. They nest in the bole of a huge beech tree where several large branches make a 360 degree surround for them.
Be careful, sounds like an episode from Midsomer Murders.
That made me laugh …. the pace of life here is so slow that no one has the energy to do dastardly deeds!
Absolutely glorious today, been tinkering in the garden. Went out in the car and it was 24c.

Been spending time elsewhere lately, Pops do you have owls close to you, as if you mimic the sound of a tawny they usually come in quite close to inspect what’s going on, great viewing ?
ajn, I hear an owl occasionally but I’ve not seen one in my garden. I’ll try your mimic tip next time I hear one.
It was 20 degrees here on the shaded patio today and even hotter up on the roof terrace. What a lovely day!
A lady friend of mine who isn’t the best with texting, sent me a message earlier saying “it’s been a lovely cremation weekend”! Coronation Sunday has been warm but not that hot!
