Ive noticed a problem with the original thread, taking me to page 1 of the thread. Assuming its the same problem as my original Brexit thread (stolen by WMC lol) that there were too many pages, i have started another weather thread (stolen from lightbodyae55 lol).
The only person who got all his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe.
Anything i post over three lines long please assume it is an article lol. - CreatorTopic

@POPS would you mind putting a picture up of your Wisteria when you get 5. Would like to see them and show my wife please
I certainly will, but as the second flowering has just started I’ll wait until there is a decent display.
The first flowering of the season is the really prolific one, hundreds of flower strands covered the greenery, but as the wisteria is very well established, second blooming should be photogenic in about a week or so. The weather seems to have accelerated it as it blossomed in September last year ?
August 9, 2022 at 8:11 am #193366Cheers, @POPS Enjoy growing the beasts and neighbours and walkers going past often stop, admire and chat. I regard them as a sort of public entertainment, I suppose. ? ?
Must agree with kezo. Love to see a snap of your wisteria. I’ve been hooked on the stuff since going to Hever Castle which was just covered in it, a spectacular blaze of purple.
August 9, 2022 at 8:14 am #193367Ooops… forgot the weather: same as, again, only a couple of degrees warmer. With light breeze it’ll feel warmer than it really is. Happy bunny. Thanks again, weather gods.

August 11, 2022 at 8:37 am #193514Same again. Bright, clear, hot (22C at 7am) forecast to nudge 30C later on. Pleasant breeze to keep it feeling cooler outside. It was so lovely yesterday, I actually took a walk. First time in a ages I’ve tried it. Went down to local river, the Rife, and meandered along for a quarter mile round-trip. Took geological time to do it, well, 50 mins. Also took extra Tramadol to supress pain. Bloody difficult walking on country tracks but worth it. Beautiful day, batch of egrets on river and Tiger Moths puttering along overhead. Delightful.
August 11, 2022 at 10:53 am #19352125.5 C already and is climbing. Too hot for me again I am sorry to say. Though it looks like it will be cooler through the night, thank goodness.

August 11, 2022 at 4:32 pm #193558Garden temp hit 31C at 1pm. I can cope with it, doing stuff like deadheading flowers, if I do it slowly. Madam T had a hospital appointment today. Drove her there. She decided to walk back!! That’s just over 5 miles. For a 70-something year old. Arrived not even out of breath, feeling “refreshed”. Pah!
August 11, 2022 at 4:36 pm #193560Please congratulate Madam T for me Tharg. I’m in total awe of her! Also well done to you for your river walk earlier. It may be painful but it’s an epic result.
I’ve just spent a few minutes on the roof balcony and that drained me.?

August 11, 2022 at 5:31 pm #193576Hi @joss,
I have advanced copd to and also sleep apnea. I was having issues with it sore throats, aerophagia and because I require quite a high pressure setting I found I had to have the head set very tight which made a real mess of my face (all day tram lines etc etc) but earlier this year I was issued with a humidifier for it (devilbiss) completely changed my life if you haven’t tried it might be worth a squint at
Existence is a state of mind, my minds a right state

Lovely car the mx5. Unfortunately had to sell mine last year as I struggled to get in/out lol.
I had a 2006 2lt in metallic blue and spent around £3.5k puting a super charger on it taking it from 160-240bhp 🙂

Regularly does 10 miles plus along the beach when tides permit. Indulges herself in the new sport which she has christened “Groyne yomping” – have to get over/through/under the breakwaters to stay on the waterline.
@kezo 240bhp? MX5? Lethal! I want one ?August 11, 2022 at 11:45 pm #193625@kezo 240bhp? MX5? Lethal! I want one

August 12, 2022 at 8:21 am #193835Same again. Hot, clear etc. Forecast to max at 31C which will mean 33C in the back garden. Just enough breeze to cool it a bit and, with the correct set of windows open, drive the “aircon”.
August 12, 2022 at 8:47 am #193839about 15c at moment very clear skies so expect it’ll get as hot as yesterday’s 28c
