As the canvassing draws to a close we wait, again, for the result of the election. Who will “win” and who will “lose”? Sometimes parties win seats and lose others, some feel like losers when they are winners and some like winners when in fact they are losers. If we look at 2017, in reality there were no winners, Tories lost a majority, labour well behind and up 20 odd seats, libs putting on only a few seats and the SNP doon’ in Scotland. The has been most boring campaign I can remember with lies and falsehoods on all sides. We shall see what the public makes ot matters soont.

It’s been a campaign with no winners.

                          Honesty has lost.

                          Decency has lost.

                          Common sense has lost.

Tribalism has reared it’s ugly head yet again.

                          When will we ever learn?

I agree with every word. Still not sure:-

                            1. If I will vote tomorrow

                            2. If I do, for who?

I have never voted Labour, but I think that resuscitating our dying NHS is vitally important to all of us, and I also believe that massively reversing the standstill on the building of social housing should be an absolute nationwide priority. Our young people and struggling young families can no longer afford to buy or even rent basic housing in this dog each dog society that we’ve evolved into.

I can’t trust Boris and his crew with either of these fundamental priorities, so I’m going to have to vote Labour.

Reading back what I’ve just written worries the hell out of me, but doing nothing and allowing the status quo to remain unchanged is no longer an option.

sorry pops but theres no way i am voting for corbyn.

what did labour do the last time they were in power did they increase housing, no. did they help the poor no.

they wasted so much money that acheived very little and left the country bankrupt.

corbyns promises of money for waspis money for nationalisation etc etc

                                    same old same old.

in addition he supports terrorists and regimes that commit war crimes.

if i could afford it if he gets in i would get out.

A poor election campaign overall, nevertheless, will we need another one next year? With the NHS, many if its problems relate to massive PFI payments as a result of the last Labour government. Worth remembering.

fwippers, i had forgotten that they went  big on pfi, i shouldnt have done as a fairly local hospital was built on pfi by them and whilst its a beutiful building loveley inside and out its a nightmare for them financially.

it costs over £100 to get a light bulb changed i kid you not.

they have been in dire straits finacially every year since it opened, continually trying to renegotiate the contract.
