What are people hoping for realistically to come on for the next quarter?

So, the e-3008 need one pack for a heated steering wheel (although that pack comes with a bunch of other stuff) and the Sensation pack includes an opening pano roof and the Focal audio upgrade, including acoustic windscreen. That means that even the GT will need some serious pack additions to match what I’m getting very used to.

March 31, 2024 at 12:59 pm #270502MF i would like the sun roof which is a 900 stand alone option on the allure but 1200 with the premium sound system and cabin air nonsense which I don’t need on the GT.
I think the acoustic windscreen is standard on the GT. The sensation pack has pano, sound system and some kind of cabin air purifier or whatever nonsense it is.
If I could get the pano on its own then I would get the £600 vision pack even though I don’t know what it is ?
March 31, 2024 at 1:32 pm #270507MF I checked that and acoustic windscreen is standard spec on both models. The sensation pack gives ‘laminated and acoustic front windows’. Tbh I don’t even know what it is. Keep sounds in-out?
March 31, 2024 at 2:25 pm #270509des, the “laminated acoustic glass” adds a sound reflective layer which enhances the clarity of the sound. It works well.
I currently have the ten speaker Focal hi-fi audio system in my 3008GT hybrid, and it provides a superb sound experience in my opinion. The opening sunroof will increase the interior light and interior ambience, although keeping it closed will give the optimum ‘sound experience’ when I’m sat at one of the many local Beauty spots, so I’ve added the “Sensation pack” to my E-3008 order.
I’ve also added the “mistral full grain leather electric ‘AGR’ pack” as I have a similar electric pack in my current car, and I would struggle now if I changed to a manual system.
I am now considering whether to add the “360 vision pack” as it has a few extra useful safety features. The AP reduction makes it a more justifiable addition.
I definitely will not be adding a “heat pump” as I don’t cover enough miles to justify the additional expense.
The Motability ‘specialist’ at my dealership told me yesterday that he is expecting to have an ‘E-3008’ demonstrator sometime in the next two weeks. I normally would not have considered placing an order for a car I had not sat in and driven, but the fact that I have driven my 3008 GT hybrid for three years means that I’m fairly sure I will find it okay. However, I have seen a few journalists and reviewers commenting on “an unsettled clunky ride over English roads” due to the considerable extra weight generated by the very heavy battery floor. As I suffer from spinal nerve damage I will need to check this one last detail by driving a ‘demo’ around the beautiful (but much potholed) lanes and ‘B’ roads that criss cross my part of the Severn valley.
These are just a few personal thoughts on my own particular “needs and wish list”, but of course your needs and wishes will be different …. It’s good to have such a positive AP surprise for a change.
March 31, 2024 at 8:57 pm #270530Found new Hyundai prices on Bristol street motors see image for ionic 5
March 31, 2024 at 9:04 pm #270531Also appears Škoda Enyaq is down to nil payment upto £699 and then upto £2k
March 31, 2024 at 9:06 pm #270532£1249 is remarkable like taking the new customer payment off the Q1 price. I’m not saying that’s the case but I wouldn’t put it past them to advertise it that way.

March 31, 2024 at 9:09 pm #270533nope it’s not that is new price. See rest of them
March 31, 2024 at 9:47 pm #270534I don’t want to labour the point but every price is £750 cheaper than Q1 prices. That’s just too coincidental for me.

I suspect that you are correct, although there are a few forum members who do exactly the same when saying what the AP of the car that they are getting is! Some also deduct the good condition bonus, which doesn’t make sense as you get that even if you leave the scheme!
March 31, 2024 at 10:30 pm #270536Any BMW updates?

The “cost to change” IS the only relevant figure to me.

I quite understand that, but that’s probably the same argument that some dealers are making in understating APs and, as has been pointed out, that’s a bit crafty!
Of course, it would be better if Motability made life simpler and just reduced the rocketing APs, rather than the current system that gives in one hand and takes in the other!

Youre pretty much right. The most important thing is the cost to change but the NCP has been out long enough that there will be a number of potential customers who aren’t eligible. So saying to me that the cost is £1250 for me to find that money and then discover I need an extra £750 just because I’ve had my payment isn’t going to result in a happy customer.

I sincerely hope that the quarter brings something for you to celebrate Mike. I’m expecting to be reaching for tissues rather than a bottle ?
April 1, 2024 at 8:03 am #270550The current darling of the Mob Facebook forums, the ZR-V, up £1000 to £2499 for Advance version. Sport £1999. Would have been a contender for me but hasn’t got towing capabilities for a caravan.

April 1, 2024 at 8:06 am #270551Honda zrv sport up to £1999, personally wouldn’t recommend it we currently have one and find the safety systems to be far too intrusive, we are thinking about terminating it due to this

I think you are going to right Glos Guy. Ordered a Sportage at £3399, today it’s gone up to £3999. £600 blooming quid!!
April 1, 2024 at 8:13 am #270555I take it that some of you are now getting April prices? I’m still getting Jan-Mar prices, even when refreshing.
April 1, 2024 at 8:19 am #270556I can see the new prices. it’s good to see the AP’s coming down on some models like the enyaq. No addition of the L&K trim which I wondered if It would appear. There are at this time only 894 cars listed which is considerably down on yesterdays number – I guess they will trickle on to the list today
