Hello fellow Skodians. I hought I would start this thread, as there seems to be quite a few either taken ownership, placed orders or just thinking about getting the best ev out there.
So, any questions that someone may be able to answer, any good or bad dealings with dealers, specs wanted or received, perhaps someone could help others in their quest

I have the mudflaps ( came as part of the protection pack – rubber mats, boot liner and mudflaps) I can understand a small impact on economy and noise due to disrupting the air flow but don’t see how they make the ride harsher?
but I agree the car gets very dirty very quickly – I assumed it was to do with the aerodynamics2024 Enyaq 85x Sportline Plus, 2021-2024 5008 GT Premium, 2016-2021 Golf GTD DSG, 2013-2016 Ds3 D-sport 1.6 thp, 2010-2013 Mondeo 2.2 Titanium X, 2007-2010 Civic 2.2 EX, 2004-2007 Mazda 3 2.0 Sport, 2001-2004 Fiesta 1.6 Zetec-S, 1998-2001 Escort 1.6 Zetec
March 7, 2025 at 8:49 pm #299029I think you’ve got the reply that I gave for 21″ alloys mixed in with this. Do the mudflaps make a noticeable difference to the mess from the roads?
March 7, 2025 at 9:21 pm #299030Ah ! That makes sense ! Sorry, I didn’t get the 21” alloys for those reasons. To be honest the mudflaps might reduce some road grime on the sills and arches – but the car in general gets that dirty that any improvement is barely noticeable and I only got them as part of the pack that gave me the rubber mats and boot liner that I actually wanted and needed

March 8, 2025 at 11:17 am #299051My Skoda App is showing “no connection “ I first noticed this yesterday- is this an issue with my car? Or does anyone have this problem? Ie is it something to do with Skodas servers again?

March 9, 2025 at 8:18 am #299086You say that you have a “confirmed build week of week 16 so 14th April looking at around 12th to 26th May” I’m new to the dark art of motability, so don’t really know the system …. where did you get the info re build week, was this from the dealer or motability? All I’ve been told is that the lead time to delivery is 13 weeks, having placed the order 2 March this would mean delivery 1st week June ………. sooner would be better;-)

March 9, 2025 at 6:27 pm #299123The build week is from the dealer. The usual order is that the dealer’ll notify you that the factory has accepted your order and then at some point after that you’ll get a provisional build week (code 10) this can change so don’t take this as a definite build date, after that you’ll get a confirmed build week (code 20). When you get the confirmed build week it’s around 4-6 weeks after that for delivery to the dealer. All of these details are dependent on the dealer updating you regularly and likely take a couple or so weeks for the acceptance date.
I think 13 weeks is being optimistic but you never know.
March 12, 2025 at 11:49 pm #299272Now got a pre-facelift Enyaq Coupe 85X in Race Blue thanks to @BigDave, collect it next Friday and can at last breathe a sigh of relief. There will be pictures :).
Anyone with the coupe have the removal blind or is it just a PITA.

Rainworth Skoda offer?
March 13, 2025 at 12:15 am #299275@kezo That’s the one rang them at 2pm thought they’d both have gone but no and still hadn’t at 6pm so chose the Race Blue.
March 13, 2025 at 4:42 am #299280Race Blue is the fastest colour! Glad you got there.

March 13, 2025 at 10:23 am #299302New order went in yesterday for a summertime delivery.
March 13, 2025 at 10:39 am #299310Nice glad you got sorted and don’t have the worry of the middle finger from Motability.
Get the car in time to enjoy spring and summer in it.
March 15, 2025 at 12:13 pm #299490Does anyone know the wiper sizes for the coupe fronts?
March 15, 2025 at 12:41 pm #299495Should be the same as the standard Enyaq, 70cm and 45cm
Bosch Aero codes are AP28U and AP18U
I thought I’d have replaced mine by now (15 months) as my Ateca were awful from day one, so far the factory fronts are fine. The rear is starting to be a bit noisy though!.
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
March 15, 2025 at 6:45 pm #299517Cheers @Phaedra picked up a set today. Don’t think I have a rear, due to collect on the 24th and can’t wait. Anyone with the coupe found they need the sunblind?
March 17, 2025 at 9:05 pm #299629Can’t collect until Monday 24th and got a lightweight wheelchair on lease as well. I have a load of detailing stuff arriving over the next few days to protect everything, especially the interior. Dealer wanted £399 to ceramic protect it all but was a bit surprised when I told him I’d do it myself. Love it keeps me out of mischief for hours 🙂
March 21, 2025 at 8:57 am #299795I eventually got my assigned build week ~17, so week commencing the 21st April and delivery to the dealer is 4 to 5 weeks after. This puts it on target for end May beginning of June……. don’t tell anybody but I’m quite excited😉
March 21, 2025 at 1:00 pm #299813don’t tell anybody but I’m quite excited😉
Not surprised, always great getting a new car!
Roll on June (Ooer missus), the warmer weather and trips to the beach.

March 21, 2025 at 8:36 pm #299830Does anyone who has a coupe use a boot liner / tray? I got new wipers to fit, and all ready to detail the car when it gets back home should keep me out of mischief for a day or two and a lot cheaper than getting the dealer to ceramic coat and protect everything. Any other things other than rubber mats that you’ve found you can’t live without?
March 24, 2025 at 7:07 pm #299981Collected the car today and loving it so far. All detailed and protected and for way less than £399 dealer wanted lol

March 29, 2025 at 9:11 am #300240Hi had a bit of a worrying issue with my Enyaq this morning – locked my car last night but woke up this morning to the app telling me the car was unlocked and the windows open – went outside the car was unlocked and all four windows were open atleast an inch – has anyone experienced this before? And know what causes it?
Will try calling the dealer later2024 Enyaq 85x Sportline Plus, 2021-2024 5008 GT Premium, 2016-2021 Golf GTD DSG, 2013-2016 Ds3 D-sport 1.6 thp, 2010-2013 Mondeo 2.2 Titanium X, 2007-2010 Civic 2.2 EX, 2004-2007 Mazda 3 2.0 Sport, 2001-2004 Fiesta 1.6 Zetec-S, 1998-2001 Escort 1.6 Zetec
March 29, 2025 at 9:53 am #300243Usually sitting on the keyfob!, if you hold the unlock button (or sit on it) long enough all the windows will open (if it’s set in the cars system).
It’s happened to a lot of VW/Skodas, there’s an option in the car menu to turn the all windows setting on or off, it should be in the opening/closing section of the car menu.
Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!
March 29, 2025 at 10:15 am #300248Thanks for the reply – your answer was also the general consensus when I googled the problem – but I could swear the car was locked last night and I keep the key in a faraday box when not in use – so don’t understand how it could have happened

March 29, 2025 at 10:17 am #300249Will have a look at the cars settings and see if I can switch the function off – don’t understand why it’s needed when you can control heating from the app. ( some people want fresh air/ don’t want the interior getting too warm?)

March 29, 2025 at 10:50 am #300252I used to use it all the time on my passat back in the day. I’ve used it a few times mostly on very sunny days to stop the car getting too hot without running the aircon
