@Shellie Did you know that the iDrive has a full A-Z directory to read on everything about your X1. Can’t remember of hand how to locate it. I will check later and let you know.

You will then see 3 options. Quick reference: Picture search: Keyword search: When you have time have a look through or search for something you want to know how to do regarding your car.

I’ll be sorry to see the Smax go, its a really good car, cavernous really…..thou I expect I will have forgotten about it after I’ve driven off the forecourt!
Seriously if we had to go for a another mpv, it would be an smax, but its a dying sector unfortunately.
A very handy app on the phone from bmw, called BMW drivers guide, has all the info. This is different to the my bmw app, for some reason.

Hi Shellie. How are you finding driving an auto now that you have had it a while? Also, did you sort out the weather app you were struggling with? I hadn’t used it on mine so had a look today. I’ve got the higher spec (bigger) multimedia system on mine (I had to have it to get the Head Up Display), so I’m not sure if this is standard, but mine has two separate weather apps. The first shows the current weather and forecast for where you are and (I think) where you are going. It is the one that shows in the tile menus and seems to appear automatically . However, I also discovered another Weather App in Connected Drive that shows satellite style maps with options to look at rainfall, temperatures etc. You can see motion forecast maps, much as you see on the weather forecast on TV. Worth having a look to see if you have it.
