It’s that magic word grapevine that bothers me. Makes it completely uncheckable and therefore really just another word for rumour.
Simplest way I have found is to set a max price per kWh in the Ohme app and let it do it’s own thing. At that mileage you won’t have to charge it every day.
Speaking as one with experience of both Scottish and English systems. The Scottish system (and the NHS generally) is far superior to that south of the border. They focus on the reports from the professionals rather than poor trained civil servants.
My daughter has no end of problems in England. I dreaded going through the process up here but found it entirely different.
There’s some sort of tariff calculator on the Octopus website which tells you which tariff would be best. The thing with Octopus Intelligent Go is that it is Intelligent, so it will often give you the cheap rate during the day if your car is plugged in, and all your household electricity is at the cheap rate too. Some others doing a low mileage prefer Octopus Agile which varies every half hour. It’s usually well below the standard day rate all the time and occasionally pays you to charge you car! I don’t agree with Rhodgie that it’s not worth swapping. Some research now will result in a suitable tariff which will drastically cut your running costs
That’s certainly a possibility. I couldn’t find their calculator though.
Oh my gosh!
Happy Tuesday Everyone!
Wow! 12 hours?
The app isn’t set up yet so it won’t be that. I got it to connect when it was installed by recycling the power but I haven’t tried it for a few weeks till now.
Wondering if this is likely to be an ongoing issue?
Which Audi page?
For a premium brand even the Sport is pretty well specced IMHO. It’s been a while since I bought a premium brand but then pretty much everything was extra including the radio! They said they wanted to give the purchaser the choice.
So it’s certainly better than it used to be ?
