I wonder if they’ve sorted the GPF problem out,if not I’d stay away from the petrol model

Yes will be going down the same route,Dealerships have no interest, all over you like a rash,as soon as you walk out the door they’ve forgot your name. Our last car was a brand new seat ateca fr sport petrol manual, done 6000 in 3yrs and 4 months, never missed a beat,5 miles a day that works out at.

Ateca was costing £30 pm…….Tuscon £110 pm, Hmmmmm somethings not right

I’ve been in touch with mobility too give them a heads up with the problems on the car,I’ll let dealer do the regen but I no it’ll definitely come back on especially the low miles we do,the exhaust will never warm up in a million years. Its a lovely looking car  and has all the toys we wanted.

This is a big problem especially for Hyundai and Kia,if it doesn’t get sorted soon they’ll lose a lot of sales..

No way am I going on motorways doing loads of miles and using petrol to sort this problem out ,with doing very low mileage this light will keep coming up.When car goes in for regen in August I no it’ll be back on shortly afterwards,so when light comes on for 2rd time ,I’ll tell them it’s not fit for purpose and change car and model…

Same here,24 plate Hyundai Tuscon N line S manual petrol

my GPF light came on @ 281 miles yes 281 miles, phoned dealer and said bring it in for diagnostics for a regen, earliest is the middle of August, which is still a while off,we’re getting white smoke and only 18 mpg, asked garage what if something goes wrong before car comes in,he said you’ve got breakdown cover,we do 4 miles a day and been told these cars are not good for doing low miles and stop start.Dont bother with going on the motorway to clear it,just book it into dealer..
