Whoever said you pay your money and take your choice was so right .a friend of mine got a fiat 500 on motability and has never been happier, yes it’s not powerful but for her allowance all it has given her freedom and a life again after  thinking she would neither be well enough nor be able to afford to drive again and motability have enabled this ,

Hi just wanted to let everyone have a small insight into hybrids, everyone’s talking hybrids it seems and the hybrid systems are definitely a step in the right direction, having run a Toyota hybrid for the last three years and over 50000 miles if any one thinks that hybrid is the answer to their fuel economy woes then I think there will be some disappointment I have averaged 45mpg over the 50000 miles, which is good but not groundbreaking the cvt is certainly not a problem and you soon get used to it , the Toyota is not particularly powerful but more than adequate for most daily activities

Whilst looking and ordering a Volvo before Christmas the first thing I noticed on a wet Tuesday morning was how busy it was in the dealership I had to book an appointment with salesman who was probably the most articulate and helpful salesman I have ever met really knew his stuff ,but while processing my order he told me that motability orders take longer to process as any mistake however minor motability fine the dealership also while he considers motability sales as a great addition to end of quarter/year sales numbers he will always make more for private sales he did say that some brands/dealerships were getting a little fed up with being held to ransom by motability (his words) at the moment Volvo are doing well with a product that’s popular, compare this with the ford dealership where if I fired a gun I would not of hit anyone it was empty

Hi I have watched this forum for a few months now and today decided to jump in there are many valid points and obviously differences of opinion some of the advice has been invaluable but I must say am surprised at some of the negativity  I feel some of us are a little complacent most people don’t care if the car has a locking glovebox or is 5BHP less ,thay care if it starts in the morning or if it’s the colour thay like .whats good about the scheme is all thay have to think about is putting fuel in it and that peace of mind is worth far more than the numbers .the scheme has been a godsend for me as the reality and alternative would be maybe cheaper but chances are more problematic

Hi I cannot speak for anyone else I can only speak for myself if it was not for the scheme I certainly  would not be driving a car which would be the best part of £34 35000 i may have a new car but it would probably be less than half that. I know  many have worked all their lives but could not afford the cars that we enjoy so I for one am thankful to be able to access the scheme perfect it is not but probably as good as it will ever be

Hi whilst ordering a Volvo last month the dealer went through all lease finance options as well as motability and came to the conclusion that when the chips were down so to speak there is nothing to touch motability like for like. Certainly all options via  Volvo were not far short of double the cost over three years  the dealer was honest enough to say if he could take advantage of the scheme himself he would
