I know it was Mingus you were asking, however I ordered an 80 Sportline plus on October 12th and received an 85 Sportline plus last Tuesday! All upgraded which was fabulous!
This might sound silly and I am sure I know the answer, but if they are now 85’s does this mean they have all the new upgrades and software 4 too?
So I only came across this forum a few days ago after being totally obsessed at looking at every review and site that talks about the Enyaq 80 Sportline plus while I wait very impatiently for mine. ??♀️
From doing that I discovered that whilst most people loved the Enyaq, that there had been issues with it, mainly with the infotainment system, so when I saw there was a new and upgraded model 85 coming out which irons out man if these issues, I am ashamed to say that I couldn’t help feeling a tad annoyed and wishing I could have the newer model.
I noticed on here that a number of people were being upgraded from the 80/80x to the 85/85x so I obviously had to call the dealer today and wanted to update you what I was told.
I ordered an 80 Sportline plus on 12th October and my car is now in the UK awaiting delivery to the dealer.
The dealer took a look on his system and could see that whilst the order still stated the 80, that the manufacturer details is saying an 85 Sportline plus has been built!!
He did say he didn’t want to confirm it officially to me until he could see it in person, but that he was fairly confident that it was an 85!! I am so chuffed and cannot wait for the handover! ?
Just to add that my motability account is still showing the 80, so assume this will change in the coming days or on collection.
I hope this helps some others who are keen to know what they might be getting, but it does look like any 80’s ordered before 31st October but built after November will have the upgrade!!!
I will confirm exactly what I get hopefully next week, fingers crossed!! ?
