This so baffles me! If we order something with certain specs as the MY24 that it seems ok by Volvo to supply something different without any discussion?! With two neck fusions I need a 360 camera but understand it’s not on the My25. I’m at a what where and how now even more than a when! We were supposed to have our car now and yet it’s got a presumed build date of sometime in May. What a shambles.
Well I have just emailed our dealership to ask about our April / May arrival and have been informed that they have received a spreadsheet that shows our build date will be May. Build date! ? I am surprised and very disappointed this news wasn’t voluntarily shared with me as soon as they knew.
I am wondering what version that will mean now and how long from build date to arrival with us.Heard this yesterday, ordered my ex30 just under 4 weeks ago, emailed dealer yesterday afternoon to ask what the situation is and if my order has gone through…….no response! Apparently all will hear what their order situation is by this Friday? Fingers crossed …….

Who said you might be charged for the tyre? On what basis?! I’ve never heard that before!Oh crumbs I didn’t know about the rule change, when did that happen? Ours was extended on our car over 20000 and with no adaptions last July, we are waiting for our ordered car now. I would think it’s worth a challenge as you said.
I’ve been in touch with my dealer / salesperson and they’ve said they’re still told it’s end April / early May. Hope so! Time will tell! I ordered mid January 2024.
I ordered my XC40 mild hybrid early January 2024, advised via email yesterday, still on track for early/mid April 2024.
I haven’t heard anything about mine yet but I hope yours comes when they say, I’m looking forward to mine whenever it arrives!
Embee, it’s good to know you had a good experience like mine too, I couldn’t fault ours at all, I felt equal to every other valued customer and nothing was too much trouble for Ben our advisor. I loved my test drive and the lumbar support, heated deterring wheel and the seat extensions are great for me.
So sorry you had that experience with those two retailers.
Have you considered the Volvo xc40? We had fantastic service from them and it has great head room and memory seat adjustment. I’ve ordered one after a great test drive, great AP, so thought I would just mention it.Good luck with whatever you choose.
