@Rene just completed my first longish drive of 80miles and it was faultless. I can honestly say I’ve never had such a pleasant driving experience as I had today. It was a mix of motorway and A class roads and it was an absolute joy, it helped that it was a very nice day but it was effortless.
I’m not a fast driver by any stretch of the imagination but I was hitting 75/80 on occasions and the low centre of gravity makes the bends on the A class roads a breeze.
Still have winter to come so let’s see how it is after that.

Anything i post over three lines long please assume it is an article lol.Tried to switch to Intelligent Octopus Go last night and everything looked good it started downloading and finished at the prescribed 90%. Woke this morning (and wanted to be addressed as They Them 😂) to a message saying the process didn’t complete. I’ve sent an email to octopus asking them to look into it.
The charge successfully completed and when I look at the charge costs it was completed on my existing tariff Octopus Go.

Motability don’t always have the car your looking for so sometimes you’ve just got to go with what’s on offer. Luckily this car has every bit of tech I could ask for and the AP is insanely low for a £50,000+ EV. I understand it won’t be suitable for everyone and it might not be to everyone’s taste but I think it’s a gem. I’ve been scooting about here there and everywhere for the past couple of days and the only thing I don’t like is the Hyundai badge it is rank and I’m looking for a black cover for it as I can’t stand the look of it. But apart from that I’m happy. I will be going on holiday next week so the first decent, although only 80 mile each way, journey so will get a good feel for it on the motorway and on A and B class roads. I’m really looking forward to it.

I tend to use YouTube now rather than the manual it’s much easier 👍
@Rene my wife was the same but the car is a bit higher than you would imagine for a saloon so she felt it a bit lower than our xc40 but not a huge difference.

Anything i post over three lines long please assume it is an article lol.I must admit at the current AP it’s a steal. If it is on your short list I highly recommend you give it a go and book a test drive I don’t think you will be disappointed. And the waiting time is days rather than months.

I called the DNO again today and the agent I spoke to said 80 Amp is sufficient for what I have in the house.

I thought I had a 100A fuse but no 80 Amps it is. I asked if he could upgrade it to a 100 Amp but he said he couldn’t without confirmation from the office. I was on for half an hour to his office with no reply. I’ve left a message with them so will see what they come back with.
