Thankyou so much! So the order number the dealer gave me is the number I use?

        Thanks for all your help

The order number the dealer gave me is 7 digits but I don’t think it’d the build code, my dealer has never heard of this. I’ve been on mini genius and registered but it’s only giving me an option to order a car, not track one that’s been ordered so I don’t know if I’m looking in the wrong place?

I’m so impatient lol, I just want to see that something is happening so I know if I need a hire car.  If I had a date in sight it would make everything a lot easier.

I contacted the dealer and he said he’d never heard of this before and the only number he has is the order number. Is that the code?

            Thanks.

Does anyone know a way of checking through motability what stage my car is at please?

Is there an app or something for Mini?

I don’t think the mini dealer knows any more than me but I’m needing to know if I should hire a car in the meantime so I do need a rough idea.

                Thanks

Did you get £500 off ? If not then find your nearest Marshall dealer because they will give you £500 off plus your £750 new car order you only need to visit twice once to place the order once to pick it up then if anything goes wrong with car you take it to your nearest mini garage and they will fix/ repair it otherwise carry on with your order and pay £500 more than you need to ours took about 3 months from order to delivery from Marshals at Hook we went for Cooper S convertible Exclusive it was about two weeks from placing order to given a delivery date which was accelerate would highly recommend

Thanks Daniel for letting me know about this. I did ask Dick Lovett dealer if they can match Marshalls discount.  Unfortunately they couldn’t match it but they did give me a discount of 300.00, so it was well worth me asking and I’m pleased with that. Thanks again.

My wife has one of these on the scheme and start to finish took 7 weeks. That was for the Cooper S Executive Premium Plus. She absolutely loves it and can’t wait for it to get warmer.

Thanks. I can’t wait to get the car and I,ll be impatient for warmer weather too lol..

I did get £500 off as I mentioned Marshalls was offering this and they Matched it this was a Group 1 BMW Mini dealer you really need to be cheeky or go elsewhere.

I’ve emailed the dealer and asked if they can match Marshalls. Nothing ventured nothing gained : )

                        Thanks Daniel

I looked for Marshalls after reading your post but the closest one to me is 40 miles away and I have no transport. Much as id love to save 500.00, getting there and back and then getting the car and bringing it back would be difficult. Shame though.

I’m just looking at the Kia now, thankyou.

Can I please ask a question for a friend too?   She had a mobility car as an appointee for her very disable Daughter who has now gone into a care home so the car was given back about a month ago. My friend has now just been awarded mobility for herself so can think about getting a car herself.  Does she get the 750?  Even though she had a mobility car before as an appointee? Thanks all. What a helpful forum.

Thankyou ! I quite like the look of the yellow Peugeot! I should’ve said also, I need an automatic transmission only. I’ve just checked on the mobility linked above about the new vehicle payment but there’s not an option that answers my question as it seems geared towards if you have a lease coming to an end or if it’s your first car, none of that fits my circumstances. So, unless I get the 750 Im going to have to rule out the mini convertible. Maybe a normal mini will have to be considered along with that Peugeot? Which car is best out of those,,,

The Peugeot 208 GT has an electrified 6-speed automatic gearbox which includes an electric motor.

I’ve no idea what that means lol…

If you come of the scheme around 30 months ago due to medical reasons, you would not have recieved the new vehicle payment. It was introduced in March 2022 and was upped from £250 to £750 in March 2023!

Maybe it was 250 I received. I posted on here when I was looking for my first mobility car, so I,ll look and see exactly when that was? I think it was around 2 and a half years ago.

Thats a good idea. Im kind of realising i wont get a 4wd for what i can afford apart from the mini, which im a bit concerned is going to be too small really. But its on my shortlist, along with

                                        Citreon c3 aircross

                                        Seat arona

                                        Suzuki vitara

                                        Vauxhall??

                                        Jeep renegrade.

Thats a shame about the MG, I quite like that.  Ive been looking at a few cars online, I like the Jeep renegrade but im guessing its going to be heavy on petrol? I also like Suzuki Vitari, Citreon aircross, and nissan something beginning with q. Cant see if awd though. Please keep any suggestions coming, i really am overwhelmed.
