If anyone is interested I’ve just done the math on a like to like basis.
I’ve got an EV through the scheme, current AP is around £4000 (I5).
For a model Y should I basis it on the following of a £4000 deposit (and get a banger to trade in for their incentive for £3750) that takes me to a deposit of £7750.
With that deposit and 10k miles a year so like for like, monthly payment would be the following
60m – £290 PCM
36m – £342
Currently payments work out for Motability at £340ish a month.
If I take out a 60m deal, I’ve priced insurance at £350 a year, so would bring me to £320 a month. If I save approximately £20 a month thats £240 a year to cover servicing etc.
What I’m wondering is with the bit of monitoring phone usage when driving, does this mean data captured i.e if you have a medical/appointment call when driving or in the car if you’re the non driver would this also be recorded?
edit: my question is more about exactly what is recorded.
