Hi,

ive had a window in the bathroom and kitchen slightly open for years now to let vent and fresh air in. they havent been closed for a long time and now theyre very stiff and may not close. does anyone know if there’s something i can put on the metal to un-jam them and make the window less stiff?

WD40 and lubricate afterwards (it’s just a cleaner) or a penertrating spray as used on stuck nuts and bolts.

Please excuse spelling/typos. Apart from being a clot it turns out I had one on my cerebellum that's now causing various problems!

WD40 silicone spray or any cheap silcone spray once a year keeps my hindges  running smoothly.
