PaulHi first ev on order and have had home survey email. My question is what have you choosen? The iPod untethered or the plus tethered. I’m thinking the tethered plus but I like the idea of untethered on the wall…

PaulAre you sure the pod comes with a cable kezo? I’ve been researching all night and it says it doesn’t? Hopefully I’m missing something ?
October 10, 2023 at 1:23 am #237357The real reason why motorbility are dropping Easee is well documented by motorbility?
Have not seen that
Noted strangly that they are still listing Easee as a motorbility option
Any chance of putting up a link to this
October 10, 2023 at 8:09 am #237369Its nothing to do with Motability they just pay the bill at the end. The moment Ohme take over your installation you will receive an email asking for a survey online to be completed. Once you have done that you will receive another email like the picture i have attached asking you to choose a cable. I had my epod installed last week and i chose the 5m cable which came separately via DHL a few days before the install. It is Ohme who provide the cable not motability. My installation was to replace an existing BP charger which was crap.

October 12, 2023 at 1:02 pm #237897I know you can keep the Easee 5m if the install is a swap over to Ohme Pod
Had this confirmed by motorbility
Or are you having a new install?

PaulHi New install
October 12, 2023 at 1:57 pm #237914Ok as I thought so that will be why they are telling you to use the cars cable
Seems tight fisted imo as my Megan E Tec was supplied with a short cable
I will update here once my soon to be Easee to Ohme compulsory swap is complete and if they let me keep the untethered Easee 5m cable

Just had this sorted this morning. To get the cable for the E Pod you need to call Ohme and ask for one. They will post one directly to you. Tel 020 3936 9571.
Being Mobility there is no charge, it is included in the install.

----------------------------October 12, 2023 at 3:16 pm #237923Update for anyone wondering
Ohme fitter has just rang me and also confirmed when swapping from Easee over to Ohme you get to keep the Easee 5m cable but told me they will be taking the actual Easee charger away with them
50 min estimated install/swap time which will inc removal of seperate ( white) standalone load box from the meter cuboard and replace with their own one
