Big car for not a lot of money.
The AP is not that expensive considering todays offerings.
But if you want a big vehicle its another one to choose from.
Looking very dated now. Shame because they’re spacious and well built.

From my perspective I’m very happy to have Subaru in the choice pool, very capable motors, not perfect by any stretch, but very capable.
the old forrester was good and fast car with decent space too.. only downside was fuel use

Suspect they will be added tomorrow, there is always a lag, in theory the database will be altered today and checked, then go live the next morning. I would still contact your dealership as they should be primed and ready to go with Motability customers.

Well Subaru are certainly keeping us waiting, so to be going on with, let’s enjoy the wonderful Horizon Blue Forester in the sun ??..
I called my local Suburu dealer on Tuesday to enquire about the Forester but he didn’t know anything about Suburu coming back onto the scheme. He said he would make enquiries himself and told me to pop in this morning to look at the car anyway.
When I got to the garage I was able to talk to their Motability specialist and he said he had tried asking the question but had no information about Suburu joining the scheme, so I either have a very poorly informed dealer or it is being kept very secret!
Sanjay Kapur at Unity Balsall Common has encouraged Subaru to get to this point. He even ran a poll amongst his motability customers asking if they would want to see Subaru join the scheme, and forwarded the encouraging results to Subaru. It was Sanjay that published the AP’s on FB and has already taken numerous enquiries. The dealer that I’ve been talking to for some months now, Burns Garages of Congleton, also notified me that they are coming on.
I’d think your dealer is not well informed on this on.
Sounds to me like they’ve been told to keep it under wraps until Q2.
I for one would definitely be interested in a no fancy thrills practical estate like the Forester. Not at the APs initially indicated though.

Which are you interested in Willis?
Definitely the Forester. The Outback looks okay too but just doesn’t have quite the same boot height as the Forester.
I know the Forester may not be quite as polished as some other makes but it is super reliable and a very competent off-tarmac vehicle, which is what I am looking for. I don’t need it to go up and down mountains, just across (and back) a few fields and farm tracks.
