hi all i am 66 in sept and today i got the letter with the code to apply for the old age pension.
dead easy to do online and i was suprised to be asked for my late wifes date of birth and date of death.
i didnt realise i may get a portion of her old age pension she would be 66 in oct.
no idea how much but a pleasant suprise. it will be interesting to see what that will be she would have paid in for 26 years less some time in germany when she wasnt employed by naafi. any extra received will be put aside for the ap on change over in may.

i asked for a reveiw of my war pension a couple of months ago as my back and knees are worse and thats a paerwork blizzard on its own so the various pension stuff on top means its going to be an interesting few months.

The only person who got all his work done by Friday was Robinson Crusoe.

murphs law i left my phone in work today so i am going to have to try and be patient.no landline lol.
rang them yesterday to see if i could get a figure for the wifes pension i would get but they wont issue a forcast, i have to wait for the notification for the entire entitlement. the suspense lol!!!!
